“A year ago I brought a tiny 2 week old abandoned kitten to Donegal Animal Hospital and they gave him the best care! They were so kind and gentle, treating him like he was their own pet. I had called around to several vets and no one had immediate openings, but Donegal graciously allowed me to book an appointment that started in 10 minutes when I lived 20 minutes away. Thanks to them, he is happy and thriving today!”
“They treated my cat Abe well and explained to me each part of the treatment for the day, we brought him in for a checkup and vaccines however he needed a bit more treatment and they gave me the option to select which recommended treatment I wanted for him
My only issue, which is very minor, was when I was picking him up at the time scheduled I was lead to a room and waited 25 minutes before anyone came in to explain things (because the time of pickup was scheduled I did not expect to wait however I do understand that things come up that need immediate attention)

“I cannot thank Dr. Libby and the team enough for taking such good care of my boy! We had an unexpected accident, eventually leading to a scary (for me) surgery (splenectomy, tumor removal, multiple tooth extractions, etc.) and Dr. Libby was absolutely amazing…. Both, the surgery tech and Dr. Libby, showed me so much compassion, they were VERY communicative and I truly felt heard and very comfortable after talking with them. The surgery was only one day ago and my dog is handling recovery SO well. I am so, so thankful!”

“We have been bringing our three senior dogs here for the past three years. Dr. Ludwig and the staff is great. He genuinely cares and takes his time in figuring out the issue without overcharging. I thought my senior dog was going to need put down soon but with the proper treatment, he was able to prolong her life and she is happy. Hands down the best vet we have been to.”
“We had our weimaraner boarded Saturday night the 26 October and were very pleased with the hospital. Haas was bathed and nails done very reasonably and he was content when he came home. He will be visiting them 1 Nov. also when we take our son back to Dulles to return to Japan.”

“I have spent several years hopping around different vets in the lancaster area and I am SO happy I have finally found a place I love and will be staying with for pet care! I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is absolutely amazing - I had to come in many times over several weeks for my cats wound care and Dr. Purvis was wonderful. I didn’t feel pressured over things and she always was helpful and walked through what was going on with my cat’s care and improvement. I also had to bring in my kids several times and they have a play area and were extremely accommodating. I brought my 5 month old in each time and the ladies were always so helpful with getting me to my vehicle or being a helping hand. It can be stressful as a mom needing to take your children places and they were so kind and caring I truly appreciate it. I wish I found hempfield animal hospital years ago!”
“First trip to the vet in 15 years with our new Pitty pup and it was a pleasant experience. Were we seen promptly and they Vet Tech was extremely excited to see our pup and loved his name. The Doc was great, pleasant and was more than happy to answer our questions. Appreciate the enjoyable visit!”
“The best! We drove almost 5 hours to Dr. Pierdon's clinic, and it was absolutely worth it. He listens, cares, and is extremely communicative about his thoughts on what's going on as well as the results from testing. He quickly pinned down a serious ongoing issue we had been having and developed a supplement and vaccine protocol specific to our hogs and operation. Further, the rest of the staff is A+++ in helpfulness and customer service. Not only did we learn A LOT and fix the issue...we also drastically improved our operation with Dr. Pierdon's help. All the while, we were treated as if we had been long term clients through the whole process and they handled our case professionally and with a sense of urgency. The whole experience was meaningful and rewarding for us, especially after we had gone in circles for months. You cannot go wrong using Pierdon Swine Services. We will make the trip any day. “We travel three hours to see this vet. Western and traditional Chinese medicine vet with an eye for detail and odd conditions where others vets have been unable to provide relevant treatment.”
“Dr Distler and her staff have been extremely helpful and caring with our pets. We had to recently put our king charles down and every step of the way, Dr D was supportive. He was limping on his back leg and we thought maybe it was just a pulled muscle. When we took him to Dr D, she took an x-ray and went over it with us and had it confirmed with a peer who works with a lot of pets with cancer. He had aggressive bone cancer. She was straightforward and told us what different outcomes would be like should we do chemo or amputate, etc. We really appreciated it as it would have been hard to continue to watch him get around in pain. It was one of the hardest decisions we made, but Dr. D treated us like family and our pup as if he was her own. We were by him through the whole process as we said good bye, we were not rushed, given scissors to cut locks of his hair and hold him one last time. We had him cremated and when we got the box back, my heart was melting. They had taken paw prints and nose prints for each family member to have. I cannot thank Janet enough for her kindness as well as the entire staff. On a side note, they've also been extremely helpful with weird last minute situations for our other pup. If they're unable to see my pup right away, they've offered suggestions to get through the night until they can see her.”
