“Definitely worth the stay…. Next time I’m up in Wilmington I’m back here… my only gripe was breakfast was not appealing and one of the treadmills didn’t work in the gym… other than that great location and decent price for the stay.”

“Rooms: The room was cleaned excellent and smelled really good. Everything was great about the room but the hole in the shower curtain.Food & drinks: Unfortunately, we came on Monday n Tuesday the restaurant and bar was closed so I didn't get a chance to indulge. Overall, it was a lovely hotel. I would visit again if in the area.”

“This place is exactly what we needed. The room is a good size, with a good size fridge, a microwave, ice bucket, and cups. We stayed for just a few days, and didn't have any problems. The toilet was loose and the countertops were sagging, but for the price, there's literally nothing to complain about. The rooms are being updated currently, so I expect those issues will go away. Everything was kept cleaned and the entrance has tons of plants, some of which are hard to grow. To me, this shows that they care about the place and they're able to keep up.”

“We stayed overnight on our way to NC from NY. The front desk lady was kind, professional, and very helpful in her recommendations on where to order dinner from. The room was spacious, very clean, and a super comfortable bed. I particularly LOVED the desk chair. The shower was awesome, with great water pressure. They serve an awesome breakfast (included). If we ever find ourselves passing thru, we will definitely stay again. Didn't get a chance to swim in the cute little indoor pool...maybe next time.”

“Nice property with pretty much everything I want in a hotel for business travel. Hot breakfast every day and complimentary coffee around the clock. All rooms have a fridge and microwave. I have stayed here at least a dozen times in the past 10 years.Food & drinks: There is a Cracker Barrel, an Applebee’s, and a McDonalds within walking distance but, if you have any time at all to spare, take a 10-minute drive to DiPaolo’s in Penns Grove for some of the best Italian food in NJ and, if you go with daily specials, the best Italian food prices in the State. Closer and much more basic is the Deepwater Diner, open 24/7 and serving good food at bargain prices. These are my two go-to places to eat when I stay in Pennsville at the Hampton Inn.”

“Nice hotel adjacent to the country club. Restaurant is a fun atmosphere but feels disconnected from the rest of the hotel space. A small café is in the lobby serving some Starbucks beverages (hot only!). It's near to a giant Target and the Springfield mall in case you forgot to bring something with you.Nice and spacious reception hall available for weddings and other events. The outside garden is rather cramped for a ceremony plus the dumpster clearly visible through the trees makes for an undesirable backdrop.Rooms are nicely appointed with a small bar area, couch with foldaway bed and an ottoman. Turning on the TV shows a screen welcoming you by name. Though we had a view of the golf course and partial view of Tavola's patio, the predominant view we had was of the a/c compressors, electrical panel and random things thrown into a space. An awning over the first half of the space would mostly obscure this area from view. All in all, a nice hotel to stay in.”

“I was back home for a few Dr appointments and they were just the kindest, most helpful, and most caring staff I’ve ever met. When one of my health conditions showed it’s ugly face, the gentleman insisted on driving me to my patient first visit. They would check in to make sure I was ok and they just went above and beyond anywhere else I’ve ever stayed. I would recommend this motel to anybody. They just are such a wholesome, beautiful, and amazing staff, that in my honest opinion, you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else except here. Thank you everyone at Trolley Stop Motel! You all are just amazing.Rooms: The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Even able to hook up a console system.Nearby activities: There’s tons of stuff in the area. Springfield Mall, you’re not far from the airport or the city of Philadelphia, and all it’s history and glory. There’s plenty of unique shops right along the trolley line and you’re also not far from Swarthmore falls, Lieper House, the walking and biking trail that runs under the blue route (I-476) where you can find the hidden garden that used to belong to the mansion that was sadly torn down in the blue route building process. It’s just a great place.Walkability: You can walk to nearby mass transit, or through old historic media. Plus the trolley line quite literally runs right out front.Food & drinks: There’s many many fine restaurants and shops nearby and a convenience store directly across the street. Very good location.”

“This place is the worst place I've ever been!! They're roach and bed bug infested, and filthy, rude and just plain ignorant and I'm appalled at the people that r allowed to stay there and the activities that r allowed to go ignored by management!! But they'll throw out descent, clean, quiet motel- goers with some b******* reason!!!”

“Do not stay here. Front desk person wouldn't get off facetime enough to check us in. Was on it all night. Even when she came to our room to look at the crappy tv signal due to improperly installed cable wire( jammed into the outlet without a fitting on it).Our room had already been renovated but had wires hanging out of the wall. Hvac unit did not function properly the entire stay. Shower won't get hot. Barely got over room temperature. It's obvious the owner doesn't care about their hotel or guests!”

“Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms. I was a little nervous when I saw this was the hotel my group was booking at, you can tell from the photos it is a little outdated. But in the end was a better stay than I had expected. First the bad. The room decor is bright and furniture is old. If you are uncomfortable with stains on furniture this might not be the place for you. I did have a small issue with the smell by the bathroom, and the wet floor that caused it, but I was only in for one night so it was easy to work around. A few of the lamp plugs did not work, a lot of them really, which caused me to think the blow dryer didn’t work. I called the front desk and replacement was brought up right away. I then realized it was just most of the outlets that were faulty. Now the good…. everything was very clean, the amenities that mattered were new, and every interaction I had with staff was friendly. We arrived late, but we’re greeted and checked in quickly. I had asked for a room with a balcony which was honored. I was happily surprised by how big my room was, and liked the setup better than most. The desk chair and desk were actually great for working in the morning. The mattress was comfortable, which is important to me. I like a medium/softer bed for reference. There was nice new patio furniture on the large balcony. I like that they still have some rooms with balconies, I like fresh air and access to a functional door or window which is rare at hotels anymore. The top item that impressed the heck out of me though, was Donna at the front desk. She went above and beyond twice for me in my very short stay. I need coffee in the morning. Usually at hotels if I wake too early and the restaurant isn’t open I will grab a cold Starbucks can from the market, but it’s not the same. I went down at 5:30 and the restaurant had not opened yet. I started to walk towards the market, and confirmed with Donna that they opened at 6. She asked me what I needed and I told her. She asked what size and if I needed anything else, and ran back to the kitchen. She could have easily said “yup, they open at 6 see you then” but instead she went ahead and helped me out. The coffee was great! It really made a difference in my day. I truly appreciated that kindness. Also when my blow dryer did it work as mentioned above it was Donna that brought one up, and was friendly the whole time. Thank you Donna! Overall the hotel itself is nice, but rooms could use some updating. You can tell they have replaced some of the things that matter most, like the desk chairs and mattresses. I was impressed by the service, and friendly atmosphere.”

“Such friendly, caring and considerate people. Very dog friendly down the street from a park like area for walking. Be careful it's a very interesting location kinda in a plaza, blink and you might miss it.Rooms: Very good sized rooms great big windows huge walk in showers, coffee thing mini fridge and TV we just hook our Roku box up tooNearby activities: I mean Philly is like right there and my goodness is that place cool. Check out layover Philadelphia episodeFood & drinks: Sadly they only have a soda vending machine but a great breakfast if you can eat eggs. There's a restaurant across the street but I would say there are better places to eat not far drive away and again Philly is so close and has all the best food. There's also 2 types of dollar generals right down the block so your good for food and snacks”

“Enjoyed attending a Wedding Vow Renewal for my Cousin October 2023.Noteworthy details: Room was clean. Parking was very tight possibly made for small micro-cars. We were in a Nissan Sentra & there wasn't much extra space.”

“I was just there for a Shriner Event last week. My room was nice and clean - no issues during my stay. I left some valuables there after a week of me being there. I called and they connected me with the Sales/Marketing Director (who was extremely professional and attentive). She called me back to tell me that the cleaning staff turned in my valuables - which would of cost a small fortune to replace. I was fortunate for the honesty and professionalism of the Brandywine Plaza Hotel Management and Cleaning Staff. I wish i could give them more than 5-Stars.”

“Stayed here for a friend's wedding, room was nice, comfy big bed lots of outlets drawers counter space nice bathroom, chair/daybed big flat screen, actually working and fast courtesy Internet and working climate control spacious rooms.I've stayed at a lot of hotels and what set this apart was the front desk person I think her name was Sheila. She went above and beyond multiple times. Checked us in fast and smoothed out our stay multiple times being kind generous and sweet. Sheila truly was exceptional, beds and sheets more comfortable than most,Wawa being basically 150 feet away makes for added convenience. Thanks again to Sheila!!!”

“A little outdated, rooms and not as comfortable bed. Clean overall, room and the lobby area. This hotel didn't offer free water or cookies, so little disappointed.”

“Not the newest hotel in town but still nice. The hotel is quiet and the rooms are a nice size for a few nights. They have an executive floor and do some nice things for their Dimond folks. We call this place the cookie hotel. They did offer a chocolate chip cookie upon check-in. This place has comfy beds. Best I've slept on in a while.Breakfast was typical. They have a buffet. It's good enough.Parking was convenient. Right around the corner with an entrance right into the hotel. Don't forget to ask for the discount parking for $10. The location is manned, so it's a bit secure. In all, this place was not bad for a few nights. It seemed like most people that I intermingled with on this trip weren't very welcoming. The hotel was no different. Is it me? Don't get me wrong. I did meet some nice folks. It's just that not everybody was nice. My impression. Anyway, the hotel was OK.”

“I stayed for a few weeks due to my living arrangements and I like the way they have it so that no one can just walk on the property and go to anyone's room. It's really safe for children and they keep it clean and tidy. The costumer service is great and I recommend staying here if your looking to have either a weekend or just a quick getaway.”

“Bathrooms needed more towels however service was great and everything else was what one would expect for the price.Rooms: Beds could have used comforters and bathrooms definitely needed more towels.”

“Great stay excellent price. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel and doesn't claim to be. I wasn't sure what to expect when I pulled up but I was relieved how great the rooms are. Of course the premium rooms are top notch with refrigerator and microwave and a nice snack box. To some its well worth extra money to other they might not need those things since there is a microwave for use by all downstairs next to office and snack machines as well as restaurants in walking distance. I love a in room fridge for cold sodas but I'm good with 2 ice machines available and a cooler or throwing my cans in a bag with ice. For being pet friendly the rooms I have stayed in showed no sign of animals. Would definitely stay again especially for the price you won't find something similar in that range.”
