“I love going to East Suburban. We've been going here for over 10 years. The doctors are very caring and kind. I always feel like they recommend realistic treatment options. I've tried going to other vets that are closer to me but the prices are in the same ballpark but never the same quality of service. I'd rather drive an extra 20 minutes and go to East Suburban where I know my dog is getting the best advice and care. Not just that but they have great communication skills across the board (phone call, email, and text). I'm very thankful that my animals have been able to go here not just for routine visits but also "emergencies" where we were able to get squeezed into an appointment in the same day.”
“I used Monroeville Pet Hospital from Sept. 2006 until our dog's passing on June 10, 2024. We unfortunately had to make the decision to let our dog go instead of making her suffer from kidney failure. The ENTIRE staff couldn't have been nicer or more compassionate. My husband and I were quite upset when we arrived with our sweet dog and they were so incredibly kind to get us in a room right away so we could be alone with our dog instead of out in the waiting area. Dr. Oster was on vacation that week and the doctor who was filling in (Her name escapes me. I wasn't quite thinking right that day to remember her name.) was very kind during the whole process of putting our sweet dog to rest. The following week when Dr. Oster got back from vacation and learned of our sweet Willow's passing she called to see how we were doing and express her condolences. She expressed what a sweet dog Willow was and listened to me about every thought that I had about missing her and people bothering me about getting a new dog and how much that bothered me. She took so much time to speak with me when she could have rushed me off of the phone especially when there was nothing in it for her because we don't have any other pets that she is taking care of for us. We have had the best experience with Dr. Oster over all of our sweet Willow's life. She is knowledgeable and compassionate even though it doesn't come across that way to people who haven't experienced her for as many years as we had. You can't go wrong with seeing Dr. Oster. Not only do I miss our dog, I miss seeing the entire wonderful staff at Monroeville Pet Hospital.”

“Second visit here. Seen in a timely manner, which is almost unheard of based upon my many other visits with other vets. The techs and vets are very kind, and suggest reasonable tests to investigate issues. I never feel like they’re trying to sell me exorbitantly priced tests etc. when I don’t feel it’s justified and have trust in their recommendations. I will pass up any other non-shelter vet in the area to see them. They give options when possible and break everything down. Thanks for being helpful!”
“I had an emergency last night at 10:30 pm with my one horse experiencing a colic episode. I called into the service and within 5 minutes Dr. Solomon had called me back. After the 2nd call i decided to have her come to my barn to be safe rather than sorry. They arrived sooner than I was advised which was amazing. This was my first time with Allegheny having transferred from my retired vet. I was very impressed with Dr. Solomon and Dr. Cassidy. Both women were very knowledgeable and efficient, and took time to address all my concerns. Dr. Solomon followed up with me this morning. I wanted to thank them both and am so pleased with this experience, even though a scary one for me, and look forward to their ongoing care. I highly recommend Allegheny Equine.”

She is always so helpful in fitting us in and finding the best cost for the many medications that my dog needs. Donaldson Animal Hospital has always been there when we have emergencies and I am so grateful to this facility and their workers for being so helpful and caring to my fur baby.”
