Thank you to Kole West for always making me feel like a cool kid even when im super indecisive, he makes it happen! There’s purple, blue, green, and black! I’m extremely thankful for Kole, and Pretentious Hair studio, I love my vibrant hair and even new ideas he helps me with, I feel so comfortable with and at home in my own body/hair wise I love it so much. Dianna was absolutely fantastic!! I had a bit of a hair emergency, and she squeezed me in and worked some magic. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable with how she would have to fix it, and didn't have to cut off nearly as much as I feared. I love the cut! The location (inside of Bad Witches Nail Bar) is really cute, warm and inviting. I recommend!

I’m very picky about who touches my hair and she has consistently knocked it out of the park. If you’re getting fashion colors then she’s the bomb.
Be prepared to sit awhile since fashion colors are typically not a quick process depending on what you are getting. It’s a multi step process and I’ve been getting my hair done for years and years and it took a long time at my previous stylist and still does, but it’s absolutely worth your time and patience.

I didn't want to say anything because for a while I felt alone in my experience, and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this review gets deleted.
I came to Diana on a Saturday, 4pm, after work. The vibes seemed to be good and we started on my hair. I was NOT expecting to still be there by 10pm! I live almost an hour away and I had things to do the next day. She took the unnecessary time to curl and style my hair for photos, not taking into account the drive I had or how late it was.
Not to mention the absurd price she charged me ($300 for multi dementional color/cut). I was floored when I heard that price, as I've never been charged over $150 for what I have done. There was also no mention of pricing beforehand and she doesn’t charge by the hour (at least that’s what she told me), but I guess up charging a new client is what you deserve for being 20+ years in the industry? Sorry your bills needed paid, but hell, so do mine!
And the things I've heard about her and how she treats customer service workers-- just a yikes all around. I saw her work and really wanted to like her but after sitting with her for 6 hours I can say I'm steering clear. Unless you want to be up charged and talk politics half the time, I would advise to stay away.

Absolutely the best salon experience I have ever had. After years of terrible salon trips I tried an appointment with Dianna at Pretentious... what an inspiring and TALENTED woman! Very kind hearted and CLEARLY cares about her clients and her skills. I feel completely transformed! Came in with a tight budget and what I received was above and beyond. Dianne is the absolute BEST with hair! I had a bad ombre done to my hair that I thought couldn’t get fixed. It took hours but she made my experience so comfortable and good conversations! She is such a sweetheart genuinely and wants best for her clients. She fixed my hair to the blonde I wanted so beautifully and didn’t charge me a fortune. Dianne also fixed my hair cut that got messed up by someone else. I don’t trust anyone else to touch my hair!Service: Hairstyling
