I arrived with a group of 50 teen campers in the middle of a tremendous storm. The staff allowed us to store our coolers and were extremely patient as our soaked group received their game cards. The arcade was extremely clean and was stocked with all of the kids’ favorite games. We all got to enjoy the two-level laser tag arena. The campers absolutely loved being able to choose special perks on their laser to use throughout their game. I could not recommend this venue more if you are traveling with teens or anyone who enjoys games in the Hershey area!

Laserdome came across my radar earlier this year when I was looking into multi dimensional, immersive experiences that were beyond 3-D. Yes, they do exist.
Given its proximity to the DC area, I decided it was worth a drive on a Sunday to experience two 4-D, immersive experiences that showcase holographic components. Unreal Garden and Star Walk. I purchased the timed-entry tickets a few weeks in advance.
Laserdome is an enhanced arcade experience, which features the holographic theater as one of their activities. It’s a little underwhelming at first overall, but once you put on the interactive goggles in the theater, things start to unfold and you become fully engaged in this unique, 4D experience, which reflects a combination of physical, spatial sound, 2D/3D projection mapping and augmented reality.
I enjoyed both The Unreal Garden and Star Walk. One is garden/animal themed and the other is centered around outer space. You have to get tickets for each experience and wait a few minutes in between.
The idea of experiencing another element of interactivity via the hologram was definitely worth it. Seeing things and virtually touching animals in The Unreal Garden as they popped up in the headset was cool.
It was educational and entertaining and something unique to experience. I’ve seen Black Panther in 4-D, where in addition to the 3-D visuals, there are ambient elements including movement, wind, water, rain, etc. and it brings the movie to life on a whole new level. The Unreal Garden and Star Walk were similar, but you are walking around the virtual environment and getting to interact with it simultaneously. You are directing your experience, so each person’s interaction will be unique in a way as they explore the space.
The food selection @ Laserdome was LIMITED, so luckily, we were able to grab an amazing brunch close by at Jake’s on Main. I highly recommend. Will review them in a separate post.
If you’re into immersive experiences and want to see what 4-D is like first hand, check out Verse Immersive’s features @
Laserdome.

It had potential until my headset went south on me 20 minutes into it. The folks offered me another set but would have to start all over, and I didn't want my wife to have to wait for me. So they gave me the owners card and told me to text him so that I could get a rain check. Never heard from him, so sad.

It was a great experience and a ton of fun. We took our youth group for a two hour block and they really enjoyed it. We also got pizza and drinks and the food was prepped and ready for us right on time.

Took a group of 8th graders here and we loved it! We did the unlimited games and wow, such a great deal! The kids were so excited to just play. Laser tag was also awesome. I also really liked the pizza and unlimited drinks deal! I will definitely be bringing next year's group here.

I manage two girls soccer teams and we were in town for a tournament weekend. Laserdome accommodated both teams for a fun evening of laser tag, arcade and pizza! We had quite a large party and the team at Laserdome took us all in and everyone had a great time! Would definitely recommend for a team or group event!

I came up from Maryland with my U13 girls soccer team and reached out ahead of time to reserve space here so the girls could have fun and get in some team bonding during a tournament weekend. It was absolutely a success. Girls got to be crazy in a controlled environment, and parents could either join in or relax above looking down from the balcony above. We played Lazer tag as a team, which was a blast, no pun intended, we also did the virtual garden as a team. For the rest of the three hours, girls gamed and did their own thing.
There is an option for a decorated table and a bring your own food and drink for a small fee which worked perfect for us as girls kept rotating up to pick at the available food.
I would definitely bring my team or family back here if we are ever in the area again.
