The kindest, most knowledgeable doctor and tech I have ever had the pleasure to know. Dr. Badanes and Amanda have cared for my senior dog and his severe eye problems for months now and saved his sight!! They are amazing!!!

No stars. Made us pay $800 for no answer couldn’t find a diagnosis for my dog that was suffering gave him medications that made him worse, went to another vet to get a second opinion they told us VRC was wrong and just scammed us. Do not go here it’s a scam your better off going somewhere else!

I can not say enough about VRC, the staff and Dr. Brittany Neal. We discovered a lump on the paw of our 8 yr old Pug, Rocky Thanksgiving weekend and were referred from our Vet to VRC once it was determined to likely be cancer. VRC removed the mass, confirmed it was cancer and determined we needed another surgery to remove additional tissue to be Rocky's best chance to remove all cancer. The second surgery was successful and currently he is cancer free. The VRC staff are so caring and helpful. They helped to work with our Pet Insurance to have the second surgery paid direct as we were facing the cost of back to back surgery. They answered all my questions and calls and routinely followed up to check on Rocky. Dr Neal called me several times, always compassionate and answered all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend Dr Neal and VRC Malvern.

My vet practice referred me to VRC for a condition on my 11 year old female Airedale that wasn't easy to diagnose. Dr Wiley examined Cleo and is in the process of tracking down possible issues. We were admitted promptly when we arrived. Staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. The facilities were spiffy clean, well organized, with ample room for the patients to not feel threatened. A great experience in an otherwise somber situation.

Our cat, Colby, swallowed a sewing needle and thread, which he pulled out of a large spool. I guess it looked like a toy. Everyone we dealt with at VRC was kind and helpful. No judgement. Dr McGough, although somewhat stoic, was compassionate and professional. He explained what he would do to remove it by scope, and did exactly that. He even waited past the end of his shift, which must have been a 12 hour one, to talk to me the next morning when we picked him up.Though pricey, the final bill was actually less than the estimate. I hope we never need their services again, but would not hesitate to go there if needed.

I felt welcomed at first, but me & my dog got treated like trash after paying almost 4k. I picked my dog up in the same condition I left him. Had the worst experience.

Dr Mcgough was rude and pushy. Wanted to just push us off on Penn Medicine and not even look at our dog. I would not go to this vet for any reason. There are other vets in the area and I would even drive an hour out of my way as to not use this vet

this place only cares about money. wouldn’t care for my dog until thousands of dollars were spent, literally $4K! was told if we don’t pay $8K more our dog would die. we had no choice but to take him home. was threatened that if we take him home he wouldn’t live more than 6hrs. it’s been days and he’s getting better on his own. we appreciate that we left with a cast but what about the hole in his leg?p.s. everyone warned us that this place is money hungry. we should’ve listened.

VRC is a wonderful place with excellent timely care for your pet and caring people. The surgical care for our injured pup was scheduled very quickly and all post op care was meticulously written. Dr. Capelle was Milly’s surgeon and she did such an amazing job. Milly did so well from her surgery! We are very pleased with Milly’s care at VRC. Our messages were always answered and being informed is so important. We highly recommend VRC.

The staff and doctors at VRC took excellent care of my dog during an ER visit that lead to a 12 hour ICU stay. I can’t say enough about their kindness and expertise. I would definitely recommend them to anyone experiencing a scary moment with their pet like we did.

Last night, 2/3/24, my precious cat Gillie, experienced Grand Mal seizures back to back to back. This had never ever happened to her before! Each seizure got closer and closer together and my little sweet cat wasn’t recovering in between each one. She had probably 20+ in an hour. Since it was a Saturday night at 10pm, I had to find somewhere fast to rush her to. I found VRC Hospital in Malvern. I called ahead of time to let them know my emergency and they told me to pull right up to the front door. My car wasn’t even in park and a nurse came out opening my car door to get my cat and rush her back to the doctor. When I got inside, it was a beautiful animal hospital, incredibly clean, and only one other animal in the waiting area. 3 very sweet receptionists were working the front desk and checked me in and handed me tissues for my endless tears. After about 20 minutes or so, the doctor came out and we went into a room where she calmly, and gently broke the news about my cats prognosis and discussed my goals for her. The doctor was so professional, tender hearted and genuine. She allowed me to go back and say my goodbyes to my sweet friend and stay for her euthanization. The nurses were absolutely amazing and helpful and everyone took such good care of my cat in her last final moments here on earth. The receptionist was very gentle and tender when asking how I wanted to go about handling her remains. They offer an array of options as well as the option for keepsake paw prints. After Gillie was euthanized, they allowed me to take her to a quiet peaceful room to hold her while she was wrapped in blankets, and grieve for as long as I wanted. The entire process, although incredibly heartbreaking and unexpected, was nothing like I’ve ever had at any other Vet when my pet is euthanized. The entire process from my initial phone call, to the very end, was so nice. I can’t thank everyone enough at VRC Hospital Malvern. You guys are a great group of people that truly care and it shows! I highly recommend this vet to everyone!!!!
