I can't say enough about the compassion that everyone has at VRC. I always know my Louie is in great hands and has the best care. Thank you for all you do!

Initially I was pleased with this business but due to recent circumstances my mind has changed. As stated in a previous review we took our German Sheppard here for a diagnosis for limping. We were told torn ACL and it would take surgery and after about two months of healing and slowly working her strength back up she will be better than ever. It was the opposite she was screaming in pain. I flew back home from working in Texas and once I landed I drove 2 hours to get our dog back there to be seen. I was told her leg is fine from what xrays show and no further diagnosis was taken. I spent more time driving there than I did for the appointment. Then trying to get mets called in and actually picked up has been a nightmare. I get being understaffed and stressed out everyone is in today's workforce. Just from someone who was in the military the communication and attention to detail is zero to none here. Time for the vet techs to put the weed pens down and start caring about the job they have.

Initially took my German shepherd dog for limp and thinking it was hip dysplasia per my Vets diagnosis - was advised it was ALC tear and did surgery. Recovery went well until we were about 8 weeks and she’s outright screaming in pain and refusing to bare weight on left hind leg. Take down to VRC let’s her go saying she’s fine. Take her down again a few days later, mind you I live 2 hrs away and now they think she has infection. Did ct scan and blood work leave with antibiotic. Called about a week later that it’s a fungal infection in her discs and will be hard to treat to get on medication asap - still fighting with the office to get the medication sent somewhere. Every time I call in the office staff either doesn’t review the chart or is just ignorant “what is going on with Miley now” one rep said to me.. I just feel like my dog is being neglected care that I’ve already paid for ! I want my dog to be able to walk again and not be in pain. I want doctors to call back when they say they will and not go on weeks waiting for response.

We visited VRC in the middle of the night. Our dog had suddenly lost the use of his back legs and we had taken him to an emergency vet in our area. Upon exam, they determined there was probably a slipped disk in his back which was pinching his spinal cord. They recommended we immediately take him to VRC, a two hour drive away. We arrived around 1:30 a.m. and they were waiting for us. They examined him and recommended spinal surgery in the morning to release the spinal cord. The next morning they called to let me know he was ready to go into surgery. They also called several times throughout the day to give me updates. We brought him home 2 days later for crate rest and healing. They also taught me how to care for him. In the days that followed, the surgeon called periodically to check on his progress and care. We aren't sure if he will ever be able to use his hinds legs yet, but we are hopeful. He is worth keeping even if he needs a set of wheels to get around.

We had the best experience at VRC given the worst circumstance. The staff is welcoming, fast, and knowledgeable, answering all our questions with patience and care. They went above and beyond in every interaction. The facilities are clean, safe, and well-organized.

Just left from an emergency visit with our puppy in the middle of the night. The staff was very friendly, caring, and prompt and took great care of our little guy. I believe Dr Burrows checked him out and of course it was a “limp scare” and they had him running around. Great service

I had a dog that went into anaphylactic shock and an allergic reaction, this was the only place opened at the time so we drove close to an hour to get here. They took my dog is quickly, but made us pay 75% up front then lowered to 50% for us with financial issues, no payment plans. I’m a college student with working on my own and they quoted up to 6 grand. It sucks they don’t do payment plans, the care credit cards don’t accept most people either. So it’s either pay that percentage or your dog suffers basically. The cost is the reason I won’t be coming back we will be sticking to our main vet. Other than the cost, the ladies at the front desks were helpful at night and answered all my random and dumb questions. I called lots of times and those ladies were able to help me every time. Our dog stayed over night and had a plasma transfusion and is in much better shape now. I appreciated getting all the care from VRC, but not so much the price. Good for emergencies if you have the money, if not stay closer to a home vet.

Dr. Natalie Campbell, the physical therapy department, is exemplary of a compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable veterinarian. And her technician, Ashley, displayed the same traits. Their work will improve the lives of many of our 4 legged friends.

The staff were welcoming and friendly., which made this difficult moment easier. The doctor was also great, patient and explained all the big words. My only negative is as always the cost. Emerge care shouldn't require a mortgage. I understand there are costs involved but ouch.
That said, I am going back for round two and highly recommended VRC.

Staff is knowledgeable but be prepared to spend lots of money and have them convince you that your dog is much more critical than they may be
Our 1 year old dog suffered an anaphylactic reaction. Within 30 minutes we had him to this emergency vet center where they immediately him to the back; we no longer could see him. He had to be carried in. After about an hour, a doctor told us that he was in critical condition and would definitely need to spend at least 1or 2 nights at the hospital with multiple medications, possible blood transfusion, etc. estimating the cost to be approximately $6,000. During this conversation, she mentioned that he had gone outside to go to the bathroom. Remember, I said we had to carry him in so now suddenly this critical dog could walk on his own??? To make a very long story short, we decided to bring him home after 4 hours at the hospital. He came home tail wagging, as if nothing had ever occurred and we were told he could his normal diet even though there was concern for G.I. ulceration??? Still cost us $1200 but I’m so glad we made the choice to bring him home. Luckily, he didn’t require any of the medications They sent him home. You would’ve never known he had been sick
Be very wary about leaving your dog at this hospital, especially without seeing them in person because while staff is competent in their care, their main goal is to extort as much money from patient’s families while also pulling on yout hearts

I want to say thank you to Dr Savini and Dr Rotoloni and their entire team( I don’t recall
All the names ) . My pawson ?had to have an emergency surgery last year and also this year unfortunately and they were the most caring animal hospital I ever been too. Whenever I call to ask them for anything they always willing to help and assist in any way they can. I appreciate them for always being open 24hours because we need them to keep our pets safe. I want to say everyone from the front desk to the doctors , they’re all GREAT! I definitely recommend them for your pets.

I did not like your policy in reference to not accepting a personal check delivered by the spouse of the check writer. I have owned a business for 45 years and never heard of such a policy. If you are that stressed then check with the bank.
