I am surprised by all the great reviews, as our personal experience was far from pleasant. We went to the Malvern store because we were interested in a dining room suite and kitchen table and chairs and matching counter stools. We ordered top shelf pieces by Stickley and Gat Creek. Needless to say, we spent a good amount of money. We knew there would be a wait of a few months. Eventually my husband got an email from Gat Creek saying the furniture was shipped. We waited a few weeks and started calling to see if it arrived. Finally Norman told us it had arrived, but had to be inspected, and we needed to pay the balance before they would schedule delivery. We paid and still no one had the courtesy to contact us. We called again and were told they weren't working from 12/20 till after New Years. I'm laughing at the guy who bought one lousy sofa and wrote a 5 star review...must be a relative. I had no help from customer service. I left several messages and have not had my calls returned, other than a text from Norman saying he no longer worked there. Maybe, back in the day, this was " the furniture store", but we were treated horribly and will not buy anything more here and neither will any of our friends and acquaintances.

Unique selection of furniture, but most importantly amazing customer service. We live in an 1837 Cotton Mill, so most items weren't a fit, but Norman directed us to the Charleston Forge Iron and glass console table to referent the river running behind the building for our entry! It's going to be perfection when it arrives! Thank you Norman for your professionalism, understanding of our needs and your vision!

On several occasions over the years Fran has proved invaluable in helping with a design both broad and specific; his attention to detail is unparalleled. Of course Sheffield offers quality furniture encompassing all styles (not just traditional!) but one needs the gentle and informed guidance of Fran with whom to customize and collaborate. We look forward to our next house with Fran.

Top notch service and furnishings here. When my shopping cohort and I entered we were warmly greeted by a beaming receptionist. She told us there was lots to see and that we would have a good time. There was and we did. A designer approached shortly thereafter and she too was bright and bubbly. We appreciated her input. She was informative, offered us water and snacks and then let us get on with the business of browsing. We spent a significant amount of time at Sheffield's. There many rooms and vignettes to go through and trust me you will want to see everything. There is an upstairs as well but it's not as big not as impressive. Besides the beach house looks the rest of the settings looked like hotel or conference room furniture. A destination spot for sure.

We worked with Diane Ten Broek for the purchase of new Dining Room and Patio Furniture from Sheffields in Malvern. Diane's design skills were excellent and we love all of our new furniture. Sheffields provides outstanding customer service from the showroom to delivery and beyond.

Why buy furniture from a local furniture store when almost everything can be purchased online? Two reasons at least in addition to helping preserve local businesses: 1) assistance with design and selection; and 2) support when problems arise. We purchased about $30,000 worth of patio and living room furniture from Sheffield. A sales person came to our house and proposed a comprehensive design that two outdoor patio tables with chairs and nearly complete refurnishing of our living room, including fabric selections and upholstery details..The designer recommended reupholstering one favorite wing chair inherited from my father. We were able to see the proposed furniture in the store. After some modifications, we placed an order. The store delivered and installed everything when the custom furniture arrived. There were two problems with the order. The webbing on two Brown Jordan outdoor dining chairs did not match preexisting chairs as intended. Also the mirror of a Friedman Brothers mirror was antiqued--we thought we ordered antiquing of the frame, not the mirror glass. Sheffield replaced both the two chairs and the mirror glass. Special credit to Kurt Brachwitz who arranged the replacements. Compared to online, we paid for service, and we got it. We could not have come up with a comparable design or fulfilled such complicated orders on our own. Six months after installation and replacements, we are very pleased with the quality and design.

I came across Sheffields after being unable to find a furniture store with a large showroom locally where we could see the furniture. The first time I spoke to Dave he was very accommodating - due to my inflexible schedule he stayed after hours to assist us . He then put me in contact with Diane T. And there are not enough words to describe how amazing she is!!! She went above and beyond to help us design our whole house, from the smallest details to the paint colors. She truly made our dream home a reality. She was patient throughout the whole process. And her designing skills were impeccable. Their customer service from Kurt to Steve to Sherry was great! Any concerns or questions we had with the products, they addressed right away. When one of the contractors damaged one of their pieces, they went above and beyond to help us find a solution to repair it. Truly exception store and customer service!! Bansi & Trey

Merrie Turney is the designer to go to. I looked far and wide for the perfect sofa and love seat for my living room and Sheffields was the place to go. I found for the same price as Pottery Barn/ Restoration Hardware, I was able to design American made custom furniture that won't pull or fall apart and that I know will last a lifetime. Merrie was patient and honest as I visited on quite a few occasions to make sure I found just the right fabric and I will definitely use her again as I take on redecorating other rooms of my home!!!!!!

The furniture may be beautiful, but the staff is quite aloof. At least three salespeople and the manager saw me and not one greeted me or asked if they could help or if I had any questions. I toured the entire showroom, I was there at least 15 minutes.

We worked with Diane and she was fantastic!! Patient, knowledgeable, friendly and customer service oriented. We'll definitely be back to work with her again. We would definitely recommend to a friend. We love our new couch and got it at a great price.
