Knowledgeable, friendly staff with many firearm and archery options to choose from. That’s right! They have archery supplies too. They’re a little pricey (but firearms aren’t cheap). They’ll also give u top dollar when buying firearms from you! Highly recommend Chester County Outdoors!!!

Killer inventory of firearms. Everything from mild to wild. Prices are great, owner and employees are always nice and treat you like a friend instead of just a customer! Very knowledgeable, as well. Will buy from them again, for sure!

Absolutely appalling experience at Chester County Outdoors. As a disabled veteran, I expected to be treated with respect and integrity. However, what I received was nothing short of theft and disrespect. During a transaction, they outright stole my case that was issued to me by the army and refused to return it when requested. The best they would do is let me take my airborne/Geronimo patches off of the case that I received through my years of service. Their blatant disregard for my rights and their willingness to prey on a disabled individual is despicable. Avoid this establishment at all costs unless you enjoy supporting businesses that have no qualms about taking advantage of those who have served our country.

Horrible customer service from beginning to end, wish I could give zero stars. Went in to get a new string on my crossbow and purchase a new compound bow. Felt like I was working with someone honest until I found out I paid top dollar for a bow that was released in 2021 (Hoyt Ventum); information that should have been given while shopping. Matt told me that the crossbow string would only take a couple of days to come in, but after almost a month and a half I never got a call so I left several voicemails and followed them up with an email......not a single communication was responded to. After an accidental dry fire on the new compound bow (more to come on that), I decided to go pick up my crossbow. When I asked for it, Matt responded "you should have called first, the string is on backorder". I was in disbelief but told him that I left voicemails and sent an email. Somehow Matt talked me into leaving the compound bow for repair, against my better judgment, and told me it would be ready the next day (Friday). Over a week went by without a phone call so today I decided to go get the bow and I couldn't believe that it was still in the bench vice with the same damage to the string. Disgusting behavior by a business owner! Everyone understands delays in the age of covid related supply chain issues, but there is no excuse for lack of communication with the customer. Back to the dry fire, Matt recommended a release for $100 and because I believed he was knowledgeable, I bought it. This release is far and away a "hair trigger" and ended up letting go of the string during a draw. When I brought the bow back for repair, Matt told me that there was an adjustment on the release to decrease sensitivity. When recommending a particular release, I believe a good business owner would disclose the potential pitfalls of a product, which he did not, nor did he even mention the ability to adjust the release. I will let every bow hunter I know to steer clear of this business!!!!!P.S. I signed up for a Yelp account just to review this business

Probably one of the best gun stores I’ve ever been to. Super patient, great inventory, probably the best prices around, and really friendly. I find myself not wanting to go anywhere else anymore honestly! Definitely recommend checking them out.
