“I always enjoy shopping here. The store is nicely organized, and the merchandise is generally of good quality and is well presented. Prices are good, and staff is always friendly. I’d like to consign there, but they make the process so ridiculously complicated and off putting. I tried years ago, and gave up. Recently, I decided I’d call again and bring my patience with me. I called and was willing to wait months for an appointment. I had to call back only to be told that they wouldn’t take on new consigners—too many regulars. I was in the store the day before and heard them making a new-consigner’s appointment. While the employee was polite and apologetic, it is a bit insulting to when they are happy to have you shop there but in no way interested in accepting you as a consigner. I will look for a location that accepts donations of professional clothing.”

“Whenever I go into Torrid I always have a good experience. This location is probably my favorite to go to. The girls are very helpful. Its so nice to finally have a plus size store to shop at for myself. I feel comfortable and welcomed when I stop in. I recommend this store to any girl who is between a 12 to any size you are! We are all beautiful! And their prices are really reasonable and the quality of the clothes is great as well.”

“Great deals especially if you are a rewards member, quality products.I would like to mention an employee that I watched while I was in line deal with a very annoying, aggravating, ignorant customer.This employee’s name was Jackie. She handled this rude customer very well. I also work in Customer Service and deal with this and I almost said something because I was getting mad myself. But you’re store associate was great, she had a supervisor take over and she moved off to a different area to help customers.Awesome employee!”

“Coupons help. They seem to provide some every time I shop there but you need to watch the dates. I thought style cash was available but it doesn’t take effect until 7/29 . The disappointment came with a surprise however, because I then asked if they honored a military discount which they apparently do. 10% off of everything was very helpful . Great clothing and selection and helpful staff.”

“Gabes is a nice store that has decent prices on clothing and footwear for women, men, and children also toddlers I believe. I wasn't through the whole store. I basically was at women's clothing. There's so much to look at, and to watch the sizes, it takes a lot of time.”

“I really liked my experience at this salon in JC penny. I never knew it even existed. It was my very 1st time in there the place was very clean, people were very nice to help. Kayla was my hairstylist 1st time meeting her.she is a very young lady. I was very Pleased with her Service. I went and cut my own hair chopped it up a bit andSHE FIXED IT ! Thank God she knew exactly what to do. She asked the right questions and Got it done right. I’m very pleased with my service I received from Kayla the stylist who did my hair. I believe I found my new hairstylist right there in JC Penny. Who knew they even had a salon in there. I sure DIDNT. We are fairly new to the area. I thought I was going to have a hard time finding my new hair stylist cause I’m very picky with my hair. But NOPE found her already. I sure am glad I went into JC penny that day. “Store was stuck in the 80s, decor wise. The building owners do not keep up on maintenance there is a large amount of missing ceiling tiles and wet spots. Besides these two minor details in appearance, the store has a good selection of clothes. I believe their prices now match everyone else's. Go if you need quality clothes not Walmart quality.”

“LET ME TELL YOU ... Britt Allen is an absolute SAVIOR. I had a date night emergency at closing time and I called the store in a panic needing boots and my girl delivered!!! She picked out the cutest pair - IN MY SIZE - stayed open a little longer for my husband to go swoop them up and it made my night and outfit perfect!!! I've consigned here for years now and I will 100% say I will never take my items or find my little gem closet pieces anywhere else.
