“Nice, clean, smaller grocery store. Great place to go if you just need to run in for something or fill a whole grocery order. Their prepared foods are really good (my husband is a big fan of their fried chicken, and I like their pizza). Friendly staff, too.”
“This place has a fresh great tasting fruit and produce. I shopped here for over 30 years. I buy from them as much as i can. I lived in blawnox and went here to buy everything i need because the product at the larger commercial stores is not any good. I was there yesterday. The staff are great. They are knowledgeable about what they sell and pleasant to be around. I talked with the owner's son about a product called Sorgrum which piqued his intrest, and he wanted to know more. They also support local businesses such as Russleton honey makers. If you want fresh produce, i recommend John & Jerry's produce”

1766 Golden Mile Hwy, Monroeville“Prices are definitely better than (for example) Giant Eagle for comparable products (e.g., chicken thighs being something like 40% less). However, the range of products is pretty limited (e.g., dried spices didn't include things like garlic powder, very limited produce, etc.).I'll go back for meats, but will definitely have to complete my shopping elsewhere on most occasions.”

1040 Village Center Dr, Tarentum“This is my favorite Aldi in the entire known universe. I have been to many Aldis and none have come close. They always have what you need. There are never lines. The prices are unbeatable. We can make a trip here in under 20 minutes that satisfies an entire week of groceries.”
“Fresh produce, great prices! It's always clean and the employees are friendly. Well spaced aisles and thoughtfully laid out merchandise. I love the rotating items throughout the store, it adds variety to my shopping”
“People here have always been very kind and they do make an effort to make sure the lines don't get too crazy. Been coming here for about 6 years now and I can't think of a negative interaction during that time.”

16 Federal Dr, Penn Hills“If you've seen documentaries about budget grocery, you're probably getting a fair idea that the way the world works now isn't ideal for a lot of service crews, including PHC Aldi. At the end of the day, the people make the place: The management has always been as helpful as available, the staff are kind and real, and I've never had a problem finding help or finding something at the store. Good stuff.”

4415 Old William Penn Hwy, Monroeville“Great store, they have lots of products from Ecuador. Lady is her name, ( the owner) has amazing customer service. Since I am from Ecuador I understand and appreciate and know how to cook and eat Ecuadorian food. They have some Mexican products but it is an Ecuadorian store which made me so happy to buy many products that we only have there. If people would understand Ecuadorian food they will appreciate this store. I am making some hot sauce from scratch since they have tomate de árbol. I will bake some cakes inside something like a banana leaf ( Quimbolitos) because they sell the leaves to steam the cakes. They are so moist, soft and the leaf gives it a nice flavor. Hope many more people know about the store because just a few people know about it in Monroeville, PA.”
“Much bigger and better than the one in Bloomfield. Wide variety...great extensive bakery and meat and produce departments. Would go back, even though it is out of the way!”
“I choose to support Golden Dawn because they are a small business and not a corporation. We always buy their meats then other things. They do try their best to please customers and they have been, even with the new owners. Prices are to be expected a little higher than bargain-off brand grocery stores. I'll continue to give them our business.”
“Nice local store for a good variety of stuff that isn’t found elsewhere. The prices sometimes more than other places, but if you understand retail sourcing you’d easily understand why they are. Deli has great meats and friendly workers as well.”
“A little pricey but that is a fact of life. Have no complaints actually i had a problem my last visit and it was my fault the gentleman that i talked to was very polite. I thought they forgot to put an item in my bag and he was going to give me the price of the item off my next visit. But I Found the item and called him back to apologize and he chuckled and said no problem it happens and thanked me for being honest with him”
“I called like 6 different giant eagles no one had my husband's favorite Swiss lemon ice. 200 Tarentum Bridge Rd, New Kensington“Great prices and selection of products. I hate grocery shopping but this location has a Starbucks so it makes it much manageable. However I was there to get a small amount of dog food.lllll However, I guess you no longer have baskets .....covid maybe?? After searching around for a small cart or basket I ended up carrying 6 packs of dog food thru the store with a full coffee. Not an easy task. Then I had to wait in line for ever including the u-scan. If baskets are to hard to clean maybe give out bags or something like that. It was very difficult.”

99 Tarentum Bridge Rd, New Kensington“Phones were ringing, and the employee just stayed at the door, holding the door open, letting all the cold air in, and smoking. It's very annoying listening to a phone ring that may have been a sale of the day.”
“As much as the newer owners try to make this place like a superchain supermarket, it falls flat. The prices are hiked too much. The new owners know that they depend on residents of the town that can't get to other stores, dollar general, family dollar, dollar tree, etc.So this place knows that they can upcharge, because the residents of this town, mainly the elderly population that can't drive or have any other means to get their necessities, will have no other choice but to come here. The employees are wonderful, except Gloria. She's a, well, she's a, See You Next Tuesday, yet for some reason, she's still employed after so many complaints have been lodged against her. I'm not sure. But I digress, honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place if you can help it and that's just fair.I went in for a box of toaster strudels and paid 2x the cost of what I would've paid at giant eagle. It's just not worth it unless you're purchasing tobacco products which are at state level requirements.”
“Always very clean and well stocked. Very good customer service. I make it a point to try to find a manager to let them know what a great job their team members are doing. Whether it's the front cashier, pharmacy or the person bringing in carts, everyone is nice. I truly appreciate the job they do.”
“The icing that comes from this place is the best that I have ever had! I went to middle school and high school here. I moved around but every time I come home, I have to get cake from shop and save Russellton.”
“I was able to get in and get out quickly. The only issue is that the check out lanes are confusing. People who were using the regular checkouts and people using the self checkouts were both in the same line. It got backed up besause the couple people in the front of the line were using the regular checkouts and no one else knew that they could go use the EMPTY self checkout lines.”
“The Dollar on unity trestle rd is very clean. The customer service is hands down the best store in this area. Sarah,Lisa and Shannon greet you with so much respect if you can't locate a item they will stop what they are doing to show where it isThank you for the service and great deals....”
“Been getting my scripts here for years. But they went above and beyond to help me out when I lost my insurance. I wasn't sure how it would work but they gave me piece of mind until I got covered. Never missed a dose.”

2611 Freeport Rd, Pittsburgh“This is a great miniature sized market. You can find all of the essentials here, not just your typical convenience store fare. Today I got the sushi, and boy was it fresh! I will definitely be returning here and suggest if you're in the area that you do too! Too! Very close to the Harmar exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 28 just north of Pittsburgh.”
“This store has really improved in the variety of items it offers. I like to go on Saturdays when they have the $5 off $25 and use other coupons to get the best savings.”
6 AM - 12 AM
7615 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh“It's fine. They don't have a huge selection if food, but they have just what you need. Always a quick stop. And they carry more tobacco than alot of places around.”
“I have been coming here since I was a little kid, now that I live across the road from it, I visit quite a bit. The staff has always been friendly and gas cheaper than other places. I just wish it was a bigger store so it would have more of a selection.”
“Haven't been to this location in over a year and it was so nice to see the changes. Nicely organized and the cashier working was really pleasant. She helped me, without hesitation, find the special Chapstick that I was looking for.”
“Love this particular DG in Plum Pa. Perfect location. Most outgoing, friendly staff. The store merchandise is arranged in a manner u would hope to see it arranged, it is very tidy. Not all DG`s are created equal.”
“Friendly overwhelmed associates. Come on Dollar General, hire at least one stock person per store. They should do NOTHING but stocking shelves. In addition to a stock person, be sure to have a cashier to check out the customers only. Could be considered an attempt to cut down on the "millions" of complaints about aisles being constantly overflowing with product, at EVERY store. It's really not that hard to figure out. Get back to caring about customer satisfaction and do something about this major issue. EDIT 1/2/23: Over the last few months, I've noticed more help at this location. Store doesn't have the blocked aisles as it's had in the past. One suggestion, bring out one or two carts of products from the truck at a time. Try not to bring the majority of them in from loading dock resulting in clogged aisles. Great job ladies, thank you!”
