If I could give anything less than 1 star, I definitely would. Horrible service at this local post office. Zero sense of urgency with our deliveries, and zero sense of understanding with our frustration at this office and how they handle delivery concerns. Someone needs to completely clear out these workers and immediately replace the staff with quality employees who actually want to work and do their job, instead of keeping workers with lame excuses after excuses on why they won’t go out of their way to deliver packages to residents. This office is the absolute worst! If I could somehow change local postal offices, I would. The Pocono summit location is closer to our house than the actual Long Pond office.

The one and only postal attendant at this location has serious attitude issues! If she doesn't like her job, she should try something else. Customer service is not for her.

The lady that works there is Horrible. I don't even know how she still working. Noone sees the reviews that this post office has. I would of gave it no STARS. She always has an attitude and when you ask her anything her answer is NO she doesn't even bother to check. I go there to pick up my packages and she ask for some many things like your ID the notice letter and why you picking it up blah blah. She is the worst lady they can have working. The gentleman is great but he is only there2 days of the week I think.

Horrible post office! This is my local post office by mailing address just recently I’ve purchased a home in IML and I don’t have a mailbox! This is frustrating beyond anything! When did it become ok to buy a house and not have a mailbox? Post office is blaming management and management is blaming post office saying that they cannot keep adding boxes everytime house sells since they already have mailboxes for each house but post office is refusing to re key the boxes and want either owner to get the P.O. Box or to have management buy more cluster boxes and install them! I’m so mad I cannot revive any official documents to P.O. Box address and why should I when I have a house I purchased a house as an home owner and proud citizen of this country nobody should be going through this hell! Post master is never in and staff including carriers are extremely rude! If I could give them -5 I would because they don’t deserve to be employed in the usps !! This problem should be solved and new homeowners or old ones should not go through so much trouble just to receive mail! It’s ridiculous

Can't wait until obsolete post office closes. Had money stolen from kids christmas cards. Unreliable on delivering mail. DHL stated they dropped a package at this location for for me to pick up, stated they didn't have it. Worker didn't even get off a personal call to look for my package. Then my mail was delivered after snow storm and mailbox was clear. A day later mail wasn't delivered and said undeliverable because wasn't clear. That appernetly was a lie. Girlfriend saw them drive fast right by house that day not even attempting to stop. Maybe they were late and they can use this as an excuse. Then picked up package (second attempt) and I told the worker there was no reason it should have been undeliverable. Normal excuse from them is a different contractor was working that day. That is not an excuse.

Substandard work ethic. Frank is an appalling manager. We had to contact Consumer Affairs to get our issue resolves and what do we find out. Consumer Affairs corrects our issue in 24 hours while Frank couldn't manage to get to it in over a month. Numerous packages were returned to sender because they were to lazy to deliver them properly. This post office is a perfect example of how the USPS needs to be replaced. They are substandard to say the least.
