you’d never believe that this was the same dog that was whining and couldn’t sit still just an hour beforehand. oakley is an extremely high-energy, anxious dog. she struggles to sit still and remain calm in most settings. we took her for a behavior assessment to Dori Dog Training and he taught us so much. in just under two hours we now have so many tips on how to keep oakley this calm and collected all the time. although she is not perfect and we still have a lot to work on, we couldn’t thank Dori enough for his help. if you need help with training your dog i highly recommend Dori Dog Training in lock haven! i can’t wait to continue oakleys journey to becoming a well trained pup!

My Quinn is a Great Dane He is a strong headed dog and although he did what I asked he didn’t stay in the command. He also counter surfed and randomly would take off after to greet the people as they were walking down the road. He is a big dog was definitely powerful. It was very frustrating for me because I am used to my German Shepherds basically training themselves. I needed help getting control of him and his behaviors. Dori did a wonderful job with Quinn. The mid training session we had was a great experience for me and Quinn. Dori spend over 2 hours training me to maintain what Quinn had learned. And on the day he brought Quinn home he spent time acclimating him back into his home environment. He worked on Quinns triggers at home. It has been a few weeks and Quinn is doing great. I am so thankful for what Dori has done for us. Quinn is my goofy, loving and now obedient snuggle bug. I appreciate Dori’s dedication to animals and training not only the dogs but their owners to ensure successful outcomes.

It has been almost 3 years since we did the board and train program with Dori for our dog, Maverick, and each year since we have boarded my dogs with him one or twice a year when we have to leave town. My one dog has issues with reactivity which can make it extremely difficult to leave him with just anyone/any facility. Because of Dori’s help over the years we have been able to give Maverick a happy and normal life. We are thankful for the work Dori does and will continue to choose his facility each and every time.

While we always heard that having a baby could drastically change the household dynamics with our dogs, we never thought it would happen to us. Dori’s board and train program helped us navigate such a difficult chapter in our lives and re-establish much needed boundaries. His continued support as we face new milestones with our son mean so much. Our dogs graduated from his program more focused, calmer and more confident. Dori treated our girls like family; I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Dori is a gifted dog trainer. He is very naturally calm and nonjudgmental. My 7 month old high-drive male German Shepherd completed a 6 week board and train with Dori in January 2023. Undesired behaviors which brought us to Dori included, among numerous others: mouthing my hands which turned to constant nipping; biting at my feet to the point that we could not walk on leash; very poor social skills including rough play with our elderly dog; budding reactivity to small animals such as squirrels. The behaviors had become disruptive to our otherwise peaceful household, and I worried he was becoming reactive. The results with Dori were amazing: The mouthing has completely disappeared and his behavior is calm and totally reliable with other dogs and people, although he is super playful. He is respectful of our elderly German Shepherd. He is quiet in his crate at night, and we can all sleep again. Just as importantly, Dori has stuck with us while we've worked to stay consistent and retain the calm behaviors at home. It is such a relief to know Dori has our back. I highly recommend Dori with no reservations or qualifiers. He is truly unique.

My wife and I took our German Shepard, Apollo, to Dori Dog Training for a six week board and train. We are both very satisfied with the changes to our dog! After the training Shlomi still asks us how he is doing. We had an issue after the training was complete that we weren't sure how to address. Shlomi came to our house and worked with Apollo and my wife for about an hour. You could not ask for a more dedicated trainer who truly cares about the people and animals he works with. If we ever get another dog they will go straight to Shlomi for the 6 week program.

I sent my one-and-a-half year old Husky, Marlo, to Dori Dog Training this spring due to multiple behavioral concerns not limited to, but includes: reactivity, poor leash skills, separation anxiety, and resource guarding. We chose to proceed with the six-week board and train program. I received daily updates and pictures of Marlo and attended weekly sessions to track her progress. Not only did Dori resolve Marlo’s behavioral issues, he taught her functional skills now imperative to our everyday life. Marlo’s transformation was almost unbelievable. It was the best decision I’ve ever made and Dori will now be our forever board/trainer and number one resource for all questions comments and concerns regarding canine behavior.

We (my husband, dog- Duke, and I) did a behavioral assessment with Dori. My dog is a 6 year old husky, lab, Rottweiler, German Shephard mix with agressive, reactivity issues which we learned from the assessment. Dori's one on one appointment was informative, direct and absolutely worth the amount we paid. We are already implementing small things at home that we learned at the assessment to get a grasp on Duke's behavior and are seeing a big difference. Without Dori I don't know what Duke's future would've been but now I have a grasp on the situation and look forward to what we can accomplish. Thank you so much, to you and your team Dori!

Highly recommend Dori Dog training for anyone looking for any sort of dog training. Back in April 2020 my boyfriend and I adopted a dog without any direction of manors and dog aggression. After speaking with some local people they recommended Dori Dog training, who will now be our forever trainer. Our dog went through a 1 week board and train program directly from the shelter (best decision we made). We were given updates daily, and once she was done with the week of board and train we were completely blown away with the progress she made in such little time. We now continue to take her to daycare through Dori Dog Training which is great because it helps her with her socialization! Dori is always so flexible, and truly looks out for what is best for the dog and the parents. He has never steered us wrong, and I am confident when I say that Dori truly treats our dog like one of his own. We will be continuing more training this year and we are very eager to see our dog grow with the help from Dori.

This guy is amazing!! If you’re doubting booking a session because of the price tag let me assure you that it is so worth it!! You gain a ton of knowledge and techniques to use to continue the training! We saw immediate results starting already! You seriously will not regret it!

We had a great experience with Dori Dog Training! My son took his dog for the 1hr behavior assessment and learned so much about how to work with her on the issues we wanted to fix! Mr. Dori gave my son a ton of knowledge and my son enjoyed the session. It was absolutely worth the cost of the session especially since he teaches you how to continue working with your pet at home!
