First off, I am writing my review on behalf of my family and our situation.2 stars because the taxes were filed and we were not completely disregarded. The demeanor of the staff was pleasant too. But...The communication is absolutely horrendous and it's hard for them to call people back aparently.No face to face counseling due to the scare of covid, I get the whole covid excuse but masks & vaccinations work right? So that's a big minus when actual interaction cannot be had on important issues.Our taxes were delivered and complete before the due date, however ... they waited days after the due date to have us come pick up our taxes. And thus made local late.Overall, we will NOT be returning and we don't care he is the cheapest around. It isn't worth the absolute horrific communication and over the phone malarkey. Alot of questions could not be answered due to not talking directly to the tax preparer.Not to mention local taxes were incorrect and we had to pay another balance. We went here based in the good reviews, well ... it did not pan out. I may be the first negative review but (I do reviews of many places) this is what we experienced.

Mr Shifflett and his wife provide great customer service and very efficient in tax preparation.. use them every year..
