Bought 155.00 worth of plants hangers etc after a few week’s tomatoes and cucumbers were turning yellow and wilting I sent e-mails to 2 people At Stauffers. They said. Maybe the drought, I told them I water the plants. No suggestion about any kind of reimbursement for plants.Sad customer service followup.

Staff is friendly. Prices tend to be higher than the competition. Baked goods are so so. Most if not all meat is from Canada.

Customer service is apparently dead. This store has a bakery and several employees back there making more of the items they already have out on the shelf but when I asked to get one of their double layer yellow cakes done with chocolate icing instead of white icing for my moms birthday and they said that is a custom order and requires minimum 24 hour notice. I wasn't asking for any designs or writing and they even have the cakes I wanted in the cooler but all cut into halves or pieces. I don't live in Lancaster so I wasn't coming back to pick it up tomorrow. The prices here are a lot higher than stores like Giant so if they don't focus on customer service why shop here?

Been going here for over 20 years now. We are so happy when we get a cashier who is actually polite and helpful. We bought tilapia and noticed they add carbon monoxide to the product? Went to return the unopened package and was denied. While every other grocery store has gotten past the covid protocol for not returning items, it seems SKH is again behind the times.

Had somebody shop for me at Stauffer's a couple of months ago and brought back several items including pre-packaged White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese. It looked great but tasted like somebody dumped a container of salt in it and ended up in the garbage! It was inedible and disgusting! Some of the bakery goods are not bad but others are very sugary. They used to be excellent. That's what happens when you use cheap ingredients I guess. Bought a sandwich too which tasted like cardboard (no taste whatsoever) that also ended up in the trash. A tray of stuffed salmon though, was good but that's about it. The corporate office should rethink their pre-packaged food recipes and pay attention to what they sell to the public. Wish they'd taste some of their own crap and learn. Yes I am annoyed because it happened a couple of times. Needless to say, I won't be buying much of anything there. Money wasted!

I've been using the Lititz PA store every since they closed the Oregon Pike store until they opened the store closer to my home in Mount Joy PA.Tonight was my 1st visit since they opened on the 19th only to leave within 20 minutes in such frustration.It started when I found Purdue turkey breast on sale for .99 per pound. The problem came when there was no Purdue product located anywhere near the signage.I called over the 1st person walking by, and they had no idea or suggestions. This was repeated with the 2nd person, rhen the butcher and two Customer Service people. Not one person bothered to even just scan the package if turkey to see if the sign was right or wrong. This is the final answer from the 2nd Customer Service employee. She apologized and tried to tell me that "Well its the night shift, and not everyone is fully trained yet". I found so frustrating that they wouldn't or couldn't scan the product they I told the woman that after speaking to four people including her, I told her this was my 1st & Last visit to this store.To the Stauffer family, this is not a good impression on a store open not even a week. BTW - the prices are higher than the other two grocery store just a few miles apart. Don't believe you have a captured audience any more in Mount Joy. People look for good prices.They look for good products.And they always look for good Customer Service to make the shopping experience easier. Leaving the store in such frustration, it will be a long time before I found walking into the Mount Joy store.Thank you.

I was in this beautiful store today 5/1/21. I wanted to give recognition to Ted the meat man who had the best energy. I couldn't have asked for a better butcher.... Informative, funny and a great attitude. He is a perfect example of what great customer service is !

They are pretty quick unloading you. It is a tight spot, so make sure to have your tandems forward.

No butcher after six......what do the owners think it's 1954 and I wear a 1950's dress, heels and stay at home and shop during the day time??????? No I shop at 615 at night and can't get a pocket put in a flank steak....won't ever go back!

Love shopping at SKH. They even carry some Organic produce from Lancaster farm fresh co op. That's awesome!!
