“This will surely remain one of the all time great, memorable hotel stays of my life. The building, its history, and the beautiful neighbourhood (and city!) are reason enough, but Karl and Jeff are also such friendly, interesting people. It also feels luxurious but wasn’t expensive. I highly recommend this inn to anybody coming through Pittsburgh.
Nearby activities: Easy walking distance to great museums and shops, and next to a beautiful park”

221 W Main St, Ligonier“We booked the hotel last week and enjoyed our stay, The location is excellent and it was very clean and quiet. We found the check in a confusing (the front doors were locked and the key to the room was left in a mailbox at the back).
We weren't clear if there were any housekeeping services - but assume there must be since someone had emptied the wastebasket while we were gone.
It is a historical building but if possible a few more amenities would be nice - perhaps a full length mirror somewhere and a floor lamp so you could sit in a chair and read.
We've been to Ligonier many times and know most of the town - it might be helpful though to have a list or book in the rooms with nearby restaurants and their hours as well as local attractions. Just a suggestion.
Probably the best place to stay in town.”
“Great location, loved walking into the town square. Outside is quite dated and could used a freshing up but we were pleasentally suprised when we got to the lobby and our room. Everything was clean, rooms do not match the outside of the building. Comfortable beds (and my husband is PICKY), nice pool. Breakfast is ok but we weren't expecting much for a free breakfast.”
“Most relaxing place to be. And great environment. If your sitting on front porch even the people walking by are friendly. I really felt at home when I'm there. I stayed several times here, and plan to stay many more times in the future.Nearby activities: Great number of stores, and coffee shop is great also.”
