Never got to use B&D. Kept hanging up on me thinking I was a bot and then sent me to voicemail. Figured they didn't want business. I dislike that aspect, but I can't justify hating their service so 2 is justifiable. Ended up just going with someone else.

My wife's car broke down and cause of the location of the vehicle being across the street, my wife ask the guy at b&d to look at the car thinking he would start the car or get a test meter to see if the starter was bad. This guy takes the car put a brand new starter, tells us days later it wasn't the starter leaves it in anyways, chargers us, then buys the highest one to add to the bill. Then tells us he got the car started and was fine. But if we drive the car the air conditioner pully would immediately kill the starter. Then installs a new pully kit and a battery terminal for the battery.$503.00.The funny thing the guy was never giving permission to do any work on the car. No quote. Just a bill. Then says when asked why so much for the starter, he's 2 friends that were there laughing at this con artist tells me he's calling cops. Funny little guy. So after all that we were going to pay he turns down 3 different ways of payment and tells us he want cash. Nothing else! Tells us $25 a day til it got to a $1,000 and then he was sending away for title to take said car. This was all said the day he completed the work on the car. Not day's, Not a month the day it was finished. Hmmm....Also he told my wife that he was giving until Moday to pay, because we asked questions asking about the bill, he got mad and said i'm charging 25.00 a day from days past. Tells me 28 yrs. In the business and doesn't rip people off. This is a con artist at it's finest. Makes wonder how many people he has screwed in the past when nobody was watching. People are watching now, hope your books are correct, little guy. Sorry so long but details always matter in these situations.
