Animal hospital is the worst place ever. They are rude and belittling and absurdly expensive. Brought my puppy here and the vet working refused to give first round of shots -only an exam. This was initially agreed upon to get them done in 1 day, but they later changed “their mind”. I was extremely disappointed on how my pet was handled and the manner at which I was addressed. This is a money hungry place and wanted me to make another appointment to do the vaccines. They are looking to screw with you and they have a lack of empathy for busy working people and their time schedules. Avoid at all cost. I will be taking my pets to another vet. Run away from this vet which she never will come to talk to you , only she use her nasty assistant back-and-forth like a messenger to answer one of your questions or concerns that u pay a tons of $ for your pet. Never recommend this place .

STEER CLEAR OF THIS VET PRACTICE!!.
You will need to visit at least once every two years or they drop you from their files and will not allow you back for any reason! I called to book an appointment for a dog who was in distress. Since we hadn't been there in 2 years we were told we MUST go elsewhere. We had been ACH clients for about 25 years, way back when Danielle Ward and Alice Gora were working there. It was a wonderful practice then.
Please be aware that they now only take "current" clients.
The doctor was rude, definitely not customer friendly, almost showing signs of bipolarism. So, I definitely don't want that kind of person working with any of my animals. Hopefully they suffer greatly by the loss of their customers, because WORD OF MOUTH IS DEFINITELY GOING TO KILL IT.
We immediately called Susquehanna Trail Animal Hospital, Watsontown. They graciously scheduled to see me and my dog. The staff was very helpful and very friendly with the scheduling.
IF YOU PAST CUSTOMER and haven't needed any vet services for the past 2 years, be sure to call and have your records all transferred to another facility because you won't be allowed any future appointments.

We love, love, love this vet. Dr. Hopkinson and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful. We have never had a bad experience in the decade plus I've been taking my pets to them. They genuinely care about your pets and offer services that are hard to find sometimes in other places. We have a dog that needs her gums lasered every so often, and Dr. Hopkinson was able to do that for her. Most other places do an immediate referral to an expensive dental specialist. We took in a feral dog that we had to get in quickly because he had injuries and parasites etc. and they loved on him and took such good care of him, and the bill wasn't astronomical. Dr. H loves on our "pitbull" type breeds which we greatly appreciate. We have a cat that is NOT good at the vet, and they've always been kind and gentle with him and allowed me to hold him as much as possible to keep him calm. They try to work with you on costly procedures and are open about those things so that you aren't surprised by large bills. I can't say enough about them. Getting our prescriptions filled is easy, getting appointments is pretty easy even though they're busy a lot, and their front desk staff are so patient and kind. We sadly had to move and leave Animal Care, and we appreciate them even more now. We miss having such a great vet taking care of our fur kids! Take your pets here - you won't regret it.
