Until today, I have never resold my things before in this format ….but with my daughter back home, I decided to give it a whirl so I could (attempt) to give her an empty closet. As a lover of clothes myself, I understand how the experience of having your curated collection (that was likely expensive) -rejected. I lugged in possibly 40 garments and 8 were purchased. I accepted their offer and took back the “rejected” pile. The place was busy for a Monday AM - and the sell side was heavier than the buy while I was there. They’re merchandising and taking exactly what I saw mentioned online. I am grateful to offload something and I feel that I was adequately compensated for my gas/time. The place has good/abundant inventory, very clean! I will be back.

The Black Friday sale was an absolute success. My husband and I love to shop here and get special high end pieces for ourselves. We have purchased many designer bags here.

Staff members were very rude and not helpful. It was my first time so I went in smiling and asked what the process is and they were very curt and acted so snobby just pointing me over to the iPad to check in. After I waited 30 minutes for my items to be checked, then didn’t even show me which items they chose to sell. I had brought in 4 bags and they only picked two. When I asked why the others weren’t considered, she ignored me and just handed me the receipt. It wrote that items were older than 2 years and faded, which most were not older than 2 years and none were faded, they were in very good condition. Also their website does not state that they exclude items over 2 years. The 2 items they did choose were over 2 years old so that was contradictory. I was only able to see them take one item that had a tag on it but was over 10 years old so the unwritten “nothing over 2 years old” rule seems unnecessary. I still don’t know what the second item they took is since I was never shown. For just the 2 items, they gave me $4 and didn’t even ask if I wanted them back instead. They asked if they could take the rest of my clothes to donate even though I had said no on the check in tablet but I don’t trust them because they’d probably just try to sell it so I said no I’ll take it to Goodwill where I know it’ll be sold for way cheaper than this place to people who actually need it. While waiting, I saw so many worn out clothes that looked in way worse condition than what I brought in so it was just funny that they were so rude about what I brought in. And they were trying to upsell things as if it’s a high-in store. Tj Maxx has cheaper clothes that have not been used. I’ve always given donations to Goodwill since it’s a reliable good cause but wanted to try selling some things as a college student and thought it was a reputable place. It reminded me that Goodwill is a way better option. Wasn’t worth my time and I definitely did not need to be treated like that. I will never be coming here for anything again and have warned my friends to go anywhere else.

My husband and I love shopping here. Great, helpful staff and we are normally walking out feeling like winners. The clothes are in great shape and have even greater prices. Why shop new when you can have lightly used, brand clothing at a fraction of the cost? Do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven't already. They buy clothes too.

I love this place so much! They always have the greatest items ranging from clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry. Today I found my dream bag, Zadig Voltaire a designer purse for only $100 in brand new condition. Plus all the employees are the sweetest people! Definitely check this place out!

So this review is strictly due to employee. There was one girl who was evaluating my 3 items which was fine. But she went to consult with another employee and I believe her name is CiCi I don't know but today she was wearing a cat face and tail. Anyway she made a statement that " If someone was standing at the counter she wouldn't even make an offer" why not? That was uncalled for. So I decided not to conduct business due to ignorance.

I brought in very nice clothes, many name brand items, shoes still in boxes as well as unopened assorted perfume bottles. A coach hand bag and a few nice handbags. Once you say, will you donate if we don't take some of the items, that is their way of denying all of your clothes. They did not want to give me any money! It's a scam! I took all of my items back. I would rather donate to Goodwill where I know it will help people in need. Very disappointed! ZERO STARS

The Uptown Cheapskate in Langhorne, PA is awesome. All of the employees are super nice and helpful, and their clothing selection is excellent! Only my 3rd-4th time in there and it gets better each time

Yes, much better experience than Plato's Closet. Got $60 for 23 items. Brought in 2 bins (that's their max).Do wish they had more plus-size clothing, tho. I did see some Torrid pieces for women. But the largest size I saw in general was 2x, and that category selection was pretty small.Very friendly staff. I waited maybe 20 min on a Wednesday afternoon.

Left a different, similar, store with 4 items turned in and found nothing to purchase. Showed up here with 22 items turned in and so many choices we almost couldn’t choose. A fabulous store with so many options in all the sizes. We took store credit for our items and then got a discount on our purchases. Both mom (40s) and daughter (16) found clothes we loved. Can’t wait to go back with my other daughter. Well worth the 45 minute drive - can’t rave about this enough. Thank you!
