I recently had the pleasure of working with Tjasha Matthews while securing my apartment at Orangewood, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her assistance. From the moment we connected, Tjasha was incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the perfect home.
She made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Her expertise in the apartment community and her ability to address all my concerns left me feeling confident that I was making the right decision. What truly stood out was how welcomed she made me feel. I had been considering other options, but Tjasha’s warmth and professionalism reassured me that I didn’t need to look any further.
Thanks to her, I’m excited to move into my new home. I highly recommend Tjasha Matthews to anyone looking for a place at Orangewood Apartments – you won’t find a better guide through the process!

Beautiful kept apartments with nice floor plans. Very convenient first floor laundry facilities. No more descending dark stairways to basement laundry rooms. Private entrance to each apartment with mail delivery through a slot in the front door. Ample parking for cars.

Not a horrible place but the balcony is nice. The area isn't generally LGBTQ friendly... generally isn't but that's not the fault of the complex... Keep in mind that the walls are fairly thin. You will hear what everyone is saying. We had a problem in our building where the doors almost have no insulation so in the summer, it feels very hot and in the winter, it gets really cold by the front door. Just keep it in mind.
Again, not a bad place to live and they have Verizon FIOS which is an absolute plus. If you're in the LGBTQ group, tend to have a few neighbors shout slurs at you and treat you like a criminal for just existing making you not want to talk to them.... but again, you cant fix stupid.
The area is very conservative and is fine... I never felt unsafe for just going out but I never really talked to anyone because of the threats of just a select few. A couple of them used to shout slurs in my direction and one even approached me at my car threatening me while I was talking on a Bluetooth headset.... so yeah, not the best town to live in if you're LGBTQ.

Currently living with the most ignorant family above me. Constantly brining random people in all hours of the night… from 4-20/4-24 the police were at there unit 5 times in 4 days. I love orange wood but due to how the staff handles issues like this id urge you to stay away.
Our first week living here we notice several notices and or warrants on there door. So just know orange wood has no issue putting you under a bunch of felons who bang all night(Literally All night)
I’ve made 8+ noise complaints
I’ve found random cars with No tags,No plates.( Today I called 3 times 12Pm, 3pm,5pm) every time I was told “it will be towed” Shocker they never towed it..?
There’s 1 man “qualified” to put tow stickers on cars so at this rate feel free to park wherever , you probably won’t be towed
I even caught dude looking in my windows, you guessed it Harassment charge….?

I would like to say thank you to Will for his excellent service. Last night I had a leak in my hot water heater, and he was here in a matter of minutes. Will was kind, courteous, and knew just where the leak was coming from. He got right to work and before I realize he was finished.
Will is a fine young man, knows his job and does it well. Thank you again Will.

I have been here for a little over 7months and I absolutely love it. Problems or anything that is happening you get emails letting you know so you are always up to date with everything going on. Property is very clean and the maintenance people are fantastic and super sweet and when you need them you make one phone call and they pick up and come to you ASAP. All around such a great atmosphere I highly recommend living here.

We loved it when we first moved in. Super quiet, nice grounds, perfect view from our patio. But soon came to realize our children get in trouble for playing everywhere. They’ve been told the only place to play is the park. Which is a little extreme. Don’t know if they have kids but you can only keep themEntertained with a small slide for so long. I also second that motion about the parking, in my little corner there are 12 handicapped spots. 12 on one strip. The one spot outside my house was from the previous tenants for my address and was told I could park there because it would soon be taken away… over a year later it’s still there and we are sited if we park there so the spot stays empty, but parking is very limited. My wife works nightshift and we never know when the lawn people come. It’s a different day every week. Maintenance is great I can say. But we never know an eta for when they do come. And lastly people FLY through the parking lot. Which brings me back to the kids… as it is a parking lot the kids need to also feel safe at their home. Which they do not because people fly through the parking lots then call the cops on the kids for being kids. If you don’t want to live where kids live don’t life next to a school.

Have lived here for past 6 months and love that it is quiet, grounds very well kept and apartment was in excellent condition when I moved in. I have 2 negative comments to share. First, there are way too many handicap parking spots and not enough regular parking spots. I realize that there needs to be a certain number of handicap spots but it seems excessive. Second, the laundry rooms are poorly maintained. The particular laundry room I use is always dirty and although, not Orangewood's fault, inconsiderate residents leave their clothes in either the washers or dryers for hours on end which is obnoxious.
