“Title: "Lackluster Experience at Lily Inn, Burlington NJ"Our stay at Lily Inn in Burlington, NJ, left much to be desired. To start, there was no one available to greet us upon arrival, setting a disappointing tone for the entire visit. The services provided were subpar, and to make matters worse, the promised breakfast was nowhere to be found.Even basic amenities like assistance with using the TV, cable, and internet were lacking, and the staff failed to offer adequate guidance. What's more frustrating is that despite being assured by the staff that I would receive a refund due to the shortage of personnel, no such reimbursement was ever provided. In conclusion, my experience at Lily Inn was marked by a lack of service, missing amenities, and unfulfilled promises. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this establishment, and I personally will not be returning. Best of luck to anyone considering a stay here.I am hoping this will be used for constructive criticism.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable.”

“We really enjoyed our stay.PRO: Loved having the hot tub & fireplace. The double shower head walk in was huge, and I liked it has a door. Room was spacious and clean (even under UV light.) Great location with lots to do. Great privacy.CON: You can tell the rooms are older & could use some minor improvements (loose, hanging recessed light. Fridge door seal was broken and didn’t shut - we just put something up against it. TV remote was broken). Note: I didn’t take time to report any of these because they were minor inconveniences & I was busy enjoying my stay.Nearby activities: Check out Bury The Hatchett Axe throwing and get the premium package. Tons of fun!Food & drinks: Metro Diner within in walking distance and always delicious.”

“5 stars no 100 stars all the way. We were driving around with no were to go after having a very bad experience with the Hilton hotel and the treatment. We found this place. It is super duper amazing. Mr. Jay front desk concierge was phenomenal he was kind respectful and very much helpful. He accommodated my family and I in a matter of seconds. We had a stove top dishes pots. You name it this awesome place had it. Mr. Gerard and his wife Mrs. Rachel were very helpful and very nice very polite. What ever we needed it was there for us in a flash. All the guest were very nice and respectful. There pool is amazing. Jay gets a million stars with me the other two concierge were not no my liking or my family. Me. Gerard made our stay very worth while. It was worth every cent. We will be coming back to stay with them in November and in January also spring break. Absolutely outstanding service . Top service. They were very attentive. They beat any place my family and I have ever stayed at. We absolutely loved our stay here with them. We met other guest. Mr. James, Mr. Tom, Ms. Diana, Ms. Soledad and her husband Spencer’s there son . It is a very family oriented place. Every one is like family. We even celebrated my birthday with the other guest. It was amazing. Thank you for all your attention. The staff here rocks . I truly recommend this hotel.Sgt Lopez”

“I stayed at this hotel for one night last week. The room was spacious and clean. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space to store things for a night's stay and lots of tabletop space for computers and other electronics. Bedding was comfortable and clean. The breakfast area was relatively empty that day and so plenty of space. All items in the breakfast were refilled sufficiently. The staff at the breakfast area and the front desk were quite friendly and attentive.I am particularly sensitive to how easy it is to use the sink and shower in the bathroom. I have found many hotels, even higher priced ones, have a design where I keep hitting the sink while washing my hands and have to repeat wasting critical time in the morning when I am trying to get to work. The design of the sink and the faucet was excellent - simple but very well made to wash your hands quickly and feel clean. Other hotels should take note of this aspect. Nothing very aesthetic but this is the easiest to use I have seen in many years of staying at hotels.I have stayed in many brands comparable to Hampton Inn and I generally find Hampton Inn to be the most consistent in quality amongst them. That said, I had lower expectations from this hotel as it was in a somewhat sleepy town but this is one of the better Hampton Inn properties I have stayed in. I don't look for luxury, just something clean, functional and efficient.”

“Here are the key points:1. Great location, right near where the turnpike meets Route 1. Wawa with gas is right there as well as a decent breakfast restaurant nearby.2. Excellent front desk staff that really seems to care.3. Excellent, comfortable beds.4. Good, fast elevators near the lobby.5. Great shower pressure, although the tub in our suite had a puddle in the floor.6. The TV is way too small, given its distance from the beds.7. Housekeeping is terrible: - They only clean rooms once per week, and it shows. The floor/rug was unclean, as was evidenced by my dirty feet after taking a shower and walking around the room. - There was a used washcloth on the shower curtain rod. - The dishwasher was clean but had not been emptied. - The pillows are wrapped in zippered covers, but the metal zippers were facing outward, so they can scratch your face, rather than safely in the pillowcases.”

“I have to give 4 stars as housekeeping threw items away with on consent. Due to using a free night stay we had to book a 2 night separately. Was told at check-in we wouldn't need to switch rooms. So I assumed housekeeping would know this. But I was wrong as the entered the room the didn't care to double check if it was a checkout or not. They cleaned the room and threw away containers I brought and washed that are used for my dogs food. They also threw away or took a bag I brought drinks with us in. Wasn't by the garbage was just on the floor. Touch and moved all are things.”

“I had ended up living here for a month or so. Customer service is spot on they will work with you it's super clean the only issue I had at the moment we were there was housekeeping wasn't very good. I don't know right now this was during the summertime and they were having issues with housekeeping trying to actually keep someone there to work. The issue we were having was a language barrier and when you would call down to the front desk you would ask to exchange towels and they would tell you they would send somebody right up and no one would ever come up other than that it was a great place I never had any issues and I felt safe parking my car there during the day and that night no shady characters or nothing.”

“I arrived at the hotel sorta of late but the front desk associate was very helpful and pleasant and suggested a restaurant that would deliver dinner at such a late night. The surroundings are clean and and well lite with cameras outside for the added security. My room was very clean and spacious. My heater worked good and was not loud. Yes its a older hotel that had many renovations that is comfortable and inviting. The dining area for breakfast was well light with a variety of food choices and hot coffee. Overall I think I will stay at this location again when visiting the area. Thank you!”

“We stay at a lot of Marriotts but this by far has been the best experience. The customer service is amazing, with the staff being so welcoming and warm. We were greeted with cookies and a welcome card when checking in. We will definitely be back next time we visit Sesame place especially with the park being literally across the street. ?”

“We had a great stay at the Sheraton! We came with our 2 year old daughter to celebrate at sesame, the hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Although we hoped to walk across the street to the park, I’m glad we didn’t because there were minimal to no side walks and the street was very busy if we were trying to cross. The best part about our stay was the restaurant in the hotel, shout-out to our girl Denise, Janetza and one of the cooks Ralph! Not only was our food great 2 nights in a row, but the staff went out of their way to bring out a ice cream sundae for our birthday girl with a candle the night of her birthday and then janetza brought Ry out Cookies the next night! I couldn’t thank the hotel restaurant team enough for making our stay SO great and memorable! We are foodies, and that food was exactly what we needed! Prices and drinks were within reason! Thank you Sheraton team! We appreciate you all! We can’t wait for next year already!”

“Free breakfast, pool, and Jacuzzi. Free hot beverage machine in lobby. Rooms are ok. Front desk staff is undesirable. Constantly missing luggage carousels.I came here to leave a review for the housekeeping, maintenance and breakfast staff. They offer make your own waffles, juices, yogurt parfait station, eggs, meat, potatos, and breads. They offer cereals and milks. They also have a toasting machine. Rosy and her girls go above and beyond. The housekeeping girls are amazing too. They offer breakfast with your stay from early morning till about 9. The girls are friendly, polite, and provide great service. We are staying for a long time. So we are seeing staff on a daily basis.Rooms: Average.Nearby activities: Not sureSafety: The facility feels pretty safe.Walkability: Walking distance from many restaurants and shopping. “Stayed for one night. I’m not sure why some of the reviews are so bad, but here are the pros and cons.Pros: the hotel itself is spacious and clean. The lobby not only has cookies, but also had a hot chocolate bar, fruit infused water, and chicken teriyaki and egg rolls. The front desk was friendly and nice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, clean, and had plenty of towels. The fitness center is spacious with lots of equipment.Cons: the rooms do need a little maintenance. My bathroom ceiling had some water and paint issues and the water pressure was not good. I was originally in a room that had a fly and stink bug. Then I noticed the telephone wasn’t even plugged in, and there was no cable, so I couldn’t get in touch with the front desk without going down or through the app. There was definitely one room that was smoking up a storm with marijuana. Also, only one elevator was working, but there’s only four floors. The craziest thing that happened was that I had to switch rooms because of the fly in the room. I was woken up at 7am from the room upstairs dropping things randomly and walking so heavily my bed was shaking. After calling to the front desk, they kindly called the room and also confirmed the guest was “dropping things on the floor” and compensated me.Overall it’s a good place to stay but with some considerations.”

The front desk were super respectful and helpful about learning how utilize to utilize their amenities.Housekeeping was very kind and respectful of privacy. All in all a very pleasant experience in a uniquely wonderful location that can’t be beat. One of the best options in the area for long term stays, plan to stay again next time I’m visiting!”

“No one working front desk during breakfast. Laundry was expensive and they don’t have quarters on site, no quarter machine either. Libby bathroom had poop on the toilet and the women’s bathroom smelled as if someone left a dump in there for a few days. Disgusting. Way over priced.”

“Stayed for just one night with my brother who is disabled. I asked for a first floor room since he is a smoker and would be going out front to smoke a few times during the day, just to make it easier for him to come back and forth to the room. Room was ok. Microwave, small fridge, desk and swivel chair, another single chair with an ottoman, small coffee maker with tea bags, coffee pods, packs of sugar and dry creamer. Everything was in working order. There was traffic noise, but what do you expect, you're on a major highway. Breakfast was good. Sausage, cheese eggs, hot and cold cereal, waffles you can make yourself, juice, coffee, tea etc. Friendly staff. It's not the best place I have stayed at, and it's not the worst. Only issue I had was when I wanted to charge my phone that had 45% charge left. It was plugged in ALL NIGHT(7 HOURS) and only charged up to 87%. Usually my phone will give me a full charge within an hour.”

“I like the hotel, the guy who was working on the reception on the day of my check-in, he was very friendly. Now the girl who worked on Saturday night is not friendly at all. and the girl who was there on my check-out day, early on Sunday, she was also nice to me.”

“Great location but rooms still not fully updated with very small but noticeable details- torn lampshades, bare bulbs in bathroom, napkins on top of tables!Bedding was comfortable a/c worked fine - all good and we are used to staying in historic old inns and like it. They just need to dress up the little (inexpensive!) details to match the beautiful downstairs and chic locale they are in. Duh!”

“I am disgusted by the room and customer service provided by this location. When entering the room, it had a bad smell, which I figured it was probably a smoking room, I was not going to complain, and just proceeded to Lysol, as I do with any hotel/ By the time I got to the rest room area to Lysol, I was presented with a very disgusting restroom, there was feces coated in the entire perimeter of the toilet bowl as if it was stuck there for days. I went to contact the front, and their phone had no phone line. and no buttons on the phone, and called via my cellphone. The associate proceeded to tell me there were no other rooms, and I asked if I could have room service, and he informed me that there is not room service that works at night. Terrible service, terrible experience!”
