3 years ago when I was 18 I went here for my first bikini waxing. I'm a little heavy set (190lb) and also have HS and felt really judged. I don't even live in the state but this salon is why I haven't been comfortable since to go ever get waxed again. Do not recommend for first time waxxers, anyone that may come across as low income (even though i had money to pay for my services, they kept asking me if I could afford every tiny add on), or anyone overweight!

This was my third visit to Polished in the West Shore Plaza. Everyone (including those who weren’t involved in my mani/pedi) were smiling and so friendly. Emerald was my nail technician(?) this time and I was so very pleased with her appearance, her demeanor, her skill, and the results. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

The massage was good, but there were staff talking loudly in the room next to where I was getting my massage. At one point my masseuse tapped on the wall to try to make the people aware of their volume.
After the massage they put me in the beautiful relaxation room, which was anything but relaxing as they were conducting a staff meeting in the relaxation room.

My daughter had her third manicure here, couldn’t get Emerald as before (she is awesome). This manicure was horrible! Tech was not skilled at all. My daughter’s nails were uneven, rough edges, terrible paint job and she has deep horizontal scratches on all nails from the tech using a very abrasive Emory board! One finger is still slightly painful to the touch. She had a nail wrap on her thumb that had grown out quite a bit and tech painted over it. Looked horrible. We removed it ourselves because it was curled and not flat. She kept removing half of a nail when she polished it, to fix it, she used gauze so there were fibers still on her nail in the paint. I went out to the front desk to relay my concerns, she knew I was very unhappy with the results. Told me she would give my number to manager. This is 2 weeks later. Nothing. I never heard from anyone. I’m very disappointed that there wasn’t a follow up or at least offering to fix her nails.

This was the most basic pedicure. The person cut nails too short causing bleeding. I had to tell her it hurt , she appeared nervous. She did not do the warm towels until her coworker asked if she did? My heels remain dry . I cannot believe it was 80$ . I will not be returning. I was very surprised , front desk gentleman could have easier to interact with as well.

What an amazing time my daughter and I had at Polished! We experienced the "Pamper Me" package and were definitely pampered. Each of our massages and facials were given by exceptional staff. Rounding out our day with lunch, manicures and pedicures was delightful. We highly recommend Polished Spa and Salon and will definitely be back!
Specialties: Attention to detail is given to the atmosphere and design of the Spa area. It is a calming and relaxing place preparing and extending your spa treatments.
Stylist: Marci performed an amazing renewal facial. She explained each portion of the facial experience and my face looked and felt "renewed" at the end of the facial.
Chris performed my aromatherapy massage. Special attention was given by Chris to my goal in receiving the massage. Expertise is an adjective I would use to describe Chris and the massage!
