They explained how to work through a pattern catalogue, how to pick the right amount of fabric, and even suffered through too many prospective fabric measurements with good humor. I remember Kaye (sp?) even paused to make sure I meant to buy the stretchy stuff. I'm someone who knows approximately nothing about sewing, and I came and left feeling that special space between being respected and not being preyed upon. Glad to have visited here.”

“This was my first time visiting this location and only the second Joann's I ever stepped foot into! After much searching for the right fabric, I purchased some upholstery fabric at Joann's for a foot rest that was wearing thin. After driving around to different sewing and fabric stores, my wife and I picked out a nice blue patterned material that was 50% off ($30 after discount). I gave it to a upholstery repair guy (see review for Joe's to see pics). Nice employees and good selection.”
