Went to ER. Everyone there was great. My visit turned out to be very serious. Being transfered tonight. My nurse Reilly was awesome to say the least. My NPT Amanda same way n actually made the call before tests so they new to look at that. So impressed with this hospital. Others i know say same thing. Can't go by reviews.

My wife had 3 visits within 4 days. Each visit, the receptionist were kind, the wait was not long, and the patient care was beyond my expectations. We recently moved to the poconos, and this is our nearest hospital. I was skeptical upon reading the previous reviews but I truly cannot say I had the same experience. Each visit we had different doctors, nurses, aides etc. All of them were very caring. Ultimately they believe she has viral gastroenteritis, the previous visits CVS. I'm appreciative of the care my wife recieved here and doing what was needed to figure out what was going on. In previous years, other hospitals in Bethlehem were very quick to dismiss, and do no testing. St.Lukes did everything from blood work to cat scan. Thank you, for taking care of my wife. We both appreciate the hospitals level of care.

I would like to thank the 2 wonderful RN’S Elizabeth & Kim for being so kind, attentive, compassionate and helpful during our time in the ER with our special needs non verbal daughter! It’s always difficult going to a hospital with her so having people there to help with everything and to do it so gracefully means so much. Thank you for everything and for staying with us making sure our daughter was in good hands and okay! I hope this hospital knows how valuable the both of you are!

Dr and nurses left me in pain for hours. Dr Eric Shultz … knowing that the pain pill made me sick… wouldn’t give me the pain medicine he knew I needed. After an entire day and night of no sleep and none of the nurses would change my iv so the machine would stop beeping… I had the worst migraine on top of all my other pain and he wanted to give me meds to make my stomach and head worse!!!!! What an awful uncaring “ doctor “!!!!! Don’t come to this hospital for help. The Er nurses are beyond rude and they lie and they leave you lying in the worst predicament possible and they mark down the wrong times to make themselves look better!!! They give you attitude here and yell at you while you’re a sick patient!!!!! Eric won’t even come see or talk to patients - he makes decisions without talking to them! He is by far the worst “doctor “ or “practitioner” ever. If he was a real Dr- he’d know the medicine he is trying to give me will only make my symptoms worse! I know because I was prescribed them for over ten years! Seriously- I know more than this idiot doctor! No, I’m not going to agree to making myself feel worse than I already do! I would love to know how this idiot became a dr, because he definitely shouldn’t be one!

I was taken by ambulance into the ER for a snowboarding accident. I was seen immediately. Multiple people coming and going from the room making sure everything was getting taken care of. Dominick the PA was on top of my pain management and keeping me comfortable. He was very personable and professional. Nurses asked frequently if I needed anything and were very professional. Was able to get x-rays within 45 mins or so. Was discharged from the ER within 3 hours. If I have to go back to the ER in the future, I would definitely go back to St. Luke’s Carbon Campus!

Professional & courtesy in the ER but some nurses and technicians lack bedside manners! Also they never made sure if my wife wasn’t allergic to a certain type of pain medication & had a severe anaphylactic reaction.

The ER was amazing! Definitely the best experience we've ever had in a hospital setting! I had to take my husband in last night and from the second we arrived everyone was extremely nice and caring. We were only there about 4 hours and he had a bunch of tests done including CT scans! The doctor and nurses were the absolute best! They figured out exactly what was going on with my husband after a misdiagnosis by our family doctor and were able to get him feeling so much better after being sick for weeks! Definitely recommend this hospital!

I was visiting a friend in Lake Harmony from NYC and had an emergency and she took me to St. Luke’s. Never in my life have I received the level of care and attention like I did at this ER department. Everyone was so nice and I was able to get all the tests done including a CT within a few hours. Thank you so much!

This St Luke's or the Anderson campus are my go to if I need anything medical.. the nurses are wonderful, food is delicious and the building doesn't look or feel like a hospital..it's warm and inviting, the new facilities St Luke's has created raised the bar so high I can't see an older institutional looking and feeling medical center the same... we need to clone the staff at the Carbon and Anderson campus, sadly St Luke's Monroe looks similar but nowhere near as good

My wife had an emergency on a Sunday evening while on vacation and was brought by ambulance to the ER. I don't know if the EMTs were St. Luke's or not, but they were exceptional. The ER nurses, doctors, technicians, admitting staff - everyone - were very professional, attentive, courteous, responsive, compassionate and caring. My wife has a preexisting condition that was affected by the incident and the doctor was very attentive and assertive to any potential complications. She fully recovered and was discharged within a couple of hours. I work in a healthcare facility and expect a certain level of service and care and St. Luke's met and exceeded my expectations. Thank you, St. Luke's!

I have no words to describe this excellent hospital, its attention, the quality of all its work team. I don't know how to thank you for how wonderful you have been with my mom, for her emotional support with me. I will never get tired of thanking you St. Lukes Carbon #1
