Let me first start by saying I have never committed to one hair salon. I have now been going to Meraki for a few years now. I first saw Brennan and she took my extremely thick but dry and home dyed hair and turned it around. Since then, I found Bailey. She is an absolute gem. I booked with Bailey because Brennan was all booked up when I needed to get my hair done and there were no hard feelings. Bailey has treated me amazingly and has always done everything I’ve asked and more. Just today, Bailey squeezed me in because I have my engagement photos and didn’t want my roots showing. She was more than happy to and so excited to be a part of the journey. Meraki is the only Salon I have ever been to where I can walk into and feel completely relax and feel like I can be myself. I don’t feel pressured to get what the stylist wants or feel like I’m being overcharged. I have only ever walked out of the salon with something less than expected once and it was my fault. They gave me the color that I specifically asked for and I ended up not liking it. When I expressed it the next day, both Bailey and Brennan worked together to get my hair better than ever with a different formula. I rave to everyone about this salon and I consistently get compliments on my hair.
I’m getting married next year and I am so happy to say that Meraki will be doing mine and my girls hair and make up. I have nothing but the utmost respect for all of the women at this salon. And I have full confidence in their abilities.

In addition:
I’m scrolling and reading all of these reviews, seeing the negativity because of one minor inconvenience or “bad” experience. These ladies (and mostly any stylist) are just as invested in your journey and hair as you are. I know Bailey (my stylist) is super invested in not just my hair but my life. She remembers small details that I would never expect her to. So to hold a minor inconvenience or mistake is absolutely ridiculous to me.

Most relaxing salon experience. The stylists are all extremely friendly and welcoming. Brennan has been amazing with listening to what I'd like for my style and offering feedback on what will work well for my hair type and texture. Always looks amazing after her expert touches! I look forward to my visits and appreciate the no drama, fun atmosphere. Can't wait for my next appointment!

I have been going to Brennan for about two years now. I really liked how she did my hair. However, the first time ever I missed an appointment due to having a miscarriage, I explained the situation to her and she pretty much told me too bad, that everyone goes through that and that I needed to pay her the full payment of my missed appointment which was about $150 to even re book with her again. She is completely insensitive. I really thought she would be understanding because she is the owner. I will never go back to her again. Everyone please be aware. Also as a side note the first time I ever booked with her two years ago I showed up and no one was even there and she had to reschedule my appointment after I drove 30min and took off of work. So therefore I figured she would extend the same courtesy that I offered her back then.

Brennan is AMAZING. She takes the time to listen and really makes sure to work with your specific hair type. The studio is a great vibe, it's relaxing and beautiful too! I found my new stylist!! Yay!!!

Ahhh Meraki! Where do i start? Today i took my mom for a 12:15 appt we arrive at 12:15 didnt know there is a flight of cement steps so i assist my mom up the steps she is disabled and uses a cane. we go inside the receptionist says may i help you? my mom said im here for my haircut. a woman clutching a coffee mug with two hands says oh im sorry your appt was 12:15 its 12:30! i looked at my phone it was 12:22. i guess cause my mom is elderly she thought she could lie. my mom looked incredulous. She (found out is Brennan) said i have "back to back to back appts today theres no way i can fit you in now". She said if you want to reschedule she can help you. So Brennan dismisses us and goes to some backroom. Meanwhile the poor receptionist is looking at us like she doesnt know what happened. So wereleaving and i said im going back in to get here name. now shes back from her hiding space and standing inside the second door. she said im Brennan. well brennan your last male haircut past us on his way down the stairs as we were coming up. Side note to you Brennan: You are a haircutter in Lehighton Pa. You think youre bougie. you are not. nobody has worn torn black denim jeans in years which i assume youve been wearing since high school. Have a nice day sweetie! oh brennan btw when we left it was 12:28 so maybe can you get a new phone/watch while youre buying a new outfit at Walmart I think theyre open till 10 up your way Brennan stop calling my mother your calls wont be returnedBurlington Coat Factory must have a sale on Uggs somewhere? No one wears them. Oh my bad. Ohhh you do? didnt know just expected it ugh on i mean ugh

I have never bothered writing a negative review, but here we are. I went in specifically to color my hair grey to make my roots less noticeable as they come in, which I was assured a shade of grey was attainable that day. The girl with whom I had an appointment was not comfortable cutting my hair so the owner did. She cut it and said she'd touch it up when my color was complete. After 4 hours my hair was the ugliest color of brown and orange. The girl told me it was orange as she rinsed it and was clearly nervous about the result. The only solution I was offered was a dark toner to try and cover it and to come back again in a few weeks. The dark toner just made it a very dark drab brown and orange was still visible. The owner never came back to finish my haircut. The girl didn't style my hair and left globs of color on my ears and smears on my face. I was reasonable yet clear that I was less than happy with the color, but the way it was handled was absolutely unacceptable. The owner disappeared. The girl doing the color just gave up even styling me. In the end I was offered 20% off and the cost included highlights that didn't take even slightly, as well as the haircut that wasn't finished on top of the toner used to "fix" the mess and everything in between. I told her that 20% was unacceptable but was only met with gaslighting about how I should have understood the terrible results were not only a possibility, but inevitable. I paid because I had no choice but I will never go back there. I suggest no one else does either.Services: Gloss or Glaze

Rating is for the Owner only, she helped my stylist with choosing a color my hair and eventually letting my gray become the dominant color. Now for new customers as I was also, **Read the Cancellation Policy! *** That is my utmost concern. I was charged $125. due to not cancelling my appointment in due time..Had unforseen medical issue, which landed me in the hospital twice and many doctors to see. Therefore my hair was not important to me, only my health! That is my issue for a charge when NO service was rendered and I could not call with advance notice. I called the salon twice, (1st, left message), 2nd time spoke to whoever answered and would give my concern to the owner. The receptionist asked if anyone called me, my answer was No..3rd time went online, no returns. Their time is Your money whether you show or not!! Would've been decent to recieve a call back, but why would they, they got the money and your issues are not a concern for them. I will Never be a 2nd time customer ever!!!Services: Hair straightening

I began with being a regular customer. Than this time I have a new operator. She seemed to me to be inexperienced, but ok. I feel I need hi lights and ask for another stylist. I am told not to rebook. DON'T GO HERE, MAJOR RIPOFF.
