My wife & I went to the branch at 1241 Quinten Rd to open an account. I needed to transfer moneys from my current bank, which is a large sum & my wife had in excess of $50,000 to transfer/deposit + have her wages direct deposited by her employer. We arrived a little before 4pm, CLOSING TIME 5 PM. There were no customer in the bank. One lady at the teller & 3 personal in their cubicles, 2 men & a woman. A short, bearded, bespectacled male , emerged, ignored us & went over to the the lady's cubicle, said something to her. He then turned to me asking me what I was there for. On hearing we wanted to open accounts he claimed he and the woman had prior appointments at 4 pm so they were unable to help & no body else was there. I asked about the other man in the separate cubicle, it appeared he was just sitting at his desk. He went over to this other person and soon a fat disheveled, pot bellied, individual emerged, a red scraggly tie draped over his protruding belly. He also claimed he was busy (probably doing nothing) & made excuses as to why he could not assist. I was disgusted & politely told them I felt it was a bad idea banking with Santander and we left. This was well after 4.15 pm and there was no evidence of their 4 pm appointments appearing. My wife and I sat in the car to see if their clients would materialize. My wife remarked, "They were disrespectful to us because we are Asians". I agreed, I felt the same but had not said it aloud. Lessons learnt, Santander is a bank to avoid unless you are white or a colored immigrant with an urge to be abused.

Been banking with Santander for about a decade and everyone at this branch is so helpful, especially Haley. She’s very welcoming and polite. She always has exceptional customer service and attends to the guests as soon as she can. Highly recommend!

Went inside the bank to deposit money, the bank manager was giving me dirty looks up and down . She then comes behind the counter and goes “why can’t u just use the drop off box because you will hold up a line of customers” I turn around and say “there isn’t any one in line but if it’s easier I could just drop it off I just need receipts” and proceeded to rant & kept rambling that it’s too “time consuming” the Bank Manager needs to reprimanded about her poor attitude towards customers.

Absolutely horrible customer service for business accounts. They never ordered our checks, it took weeks for checks to clear, and the customer service was absolutely disgraceful. Monica has no clue what she is doing opening up business accounts. I am horrified by the treatment we got and will be filing a complaint.
