This branch is extremely useless. Changes are made to your account without your permission or knowledge. The staff at the Lebanon location always have a nasty piss poor attitude and are never helpful. Mistakes are made all the time and don’t waste your time calling because no one ever answers the phones. I highly do not recommend banking with NorthWest in Lebanon PA.

It is seriously a disgrace to the town of Lebanon that this bank is still in business. Never have I visited a financial institution that was this lazy, incompetent, and indifferent to their own failure. This could quite possibly be the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life.

The team at the Northwest Bank in Lebanon was great to deal with. I was treated like my needs were important and I have never had that with my last bank. The Manager followed up with me by phone to make sure I was working on my savings goal, and I was impressed by the service. I will always bank with Northwest and the Lebanon Branch.

So here is what happened. I lost my joint debit card so I called and ordered a new one through Northwest. I had waited 9 business days and still did not receive my new debit card. That is ridiculous because a debit card is important to have especially if it’s what you use to pay bills. So then I called Northwest on the 9th business day to check the status of my joint debit card and the women on the phone had an attitude and said “it’s only been 9 business days” and something about how Northwest has up to 14 days to send it out. Then she says she can order me a new debit card again and expedite it. Well, yeah of course I want it expedited. A new debit card should always be expedited because it is something you need to have. Is that even a question? Later on, after this call ended I tried using my individual debit card (not my joint debit card because remember I still had not gotten this one in the mail) to pay for dinner. My individual debit card would not work and said “transaction incomplete”. I knew I had the funds there because I had just gotten paid. I finally call Northwest bank again and I tell the woman what happened. She looks into why my individual debit card is not working. She calls me back to tell me that when I originally called to check the status of my joint debit card, that whoever expedited my card cancelled my individual debit card as well. I had never mentioned ANYTHING about my individual card and now that card is cancelled too. Now I am without a joint debit card AND my individual card because Northwest messed up. I will be changing banks and I will never refer this bank to anyone anymore. Not to mention, my boyfriend had fraud on his Northwest bank card recently and then took AT LEAST three weeks to send him a new card. Never again will I use this bank.

Northwest Bank is slightly average. There is no restrooms inside the bank. However, they do have a large parking lot with handicap access and rails for handicapped people which is a big plus. The customer service is good but could be better. With some work this would be a real nice place to bank.

Many in the legal community say they have a reputation for not understanding things like a Power of Attorney. They denied the existence of a 5-figure Certificate of Deposit that we worked hard and saved hard to create... resisted our Power of Attorney, and then consequently charged us penalties for not closing the CD timely. Some of the simplest of procedures take forever. It's no wonder they're closing branches. Witnesses upon request.
