“Being an Uber driver, I put a lot of mileage on my car, (50,000 to 60,000 per year)...when my trans went bad almost 3 years ago around 120,000 miles I contacted Pat's and they set me up with a working remanufactured transmission that I purchased with a 3 year/unlimited mileage warranty...after that one went bad around 100,000 miles later he replaced it for free with another one, then another 100,000 or so and almost 3 years later with 315,000 miles on the car he replaced that one for free again. They do great work and they are very honest and keep good communication over the course of the job. Highly recommended.”

When you normally get quotes it just includes the price of the item. Dennis quote included everything, tire installation and balancing. So I was surprised when I got my bill. I took my BMW x3 in for an inspection and oil change. Kevin was very genuine and knowledgeable. Didn’t rush my questions and made sure I understood everything. He texted me a link to download my complete detailed bill BEFORE any work was completed. He was transparent about what was required to pass inspection vs recommended. There was only ONE service recommended. Attention to details is important to me. My car was returned with all notifications cleared and my lights back on auto. Everyone forgets that.”

“When I tell you this is a top notch business I mean it. We broke down on our way to a wedding, we called desperate for someone to see our car. Denise was so kind and let us come over. They checked out our car and told us where eat and have a beer while we waited. They fixed our old car for a reasonable price and on time. They told us an hour and a half and it was just under 90 minutes. Finding a mechanic that keeps its word in this day and age is rare. We wish we were locals or they were closer to us. If we ever have car problems in the Philadelphia area we will only go to MacGarrigle.”

“I am so absolutely thrilled with the level of service I receive today at Cottman. After spending a holiday weekend doing some research on why my transmission was acting up I decided to take it to Cottman as a friend Joe from Spectrum tires referred me and I'm SO thankful he did. I called the day before to ask when would be a good time to drop my 2011 wrangler off and Larry (super kind individual) said I could drop it off the next morning at 8am. So I did just that and not only was he there waiting for me the next morning, my Jeep's transmission was repaired just 5 hours later! I was expecting it to cost thousands and be without it for weeks but nope! Not even with all of the supply chain issues, my jeep was back to me SAME DAY! Larry was excellent communicating throughout and I am just THRILLED with the level of service I received today. Not only am I happy with the service I'm confident in prolonging the life of my car because god knows know one wants to buy a car during inflation. “After a very disappointing (aka outrageous) quote from my VW dealership, I took my car to Bram at PA Tire & Auto in Ardmore. It was an excellent decision because I was treated kindly, fairly, and communicated with about all decisions. They were able to take my car in and turn it back over to me extremely fast. My neighbor who is a car mechanic later shared that they do great work and treat people fairly which was very reassuring.
