Just started using the pool and its great

I hesitate giving this place for stars. Want to give it five. But, if I’m honest, some of the machines need to be updated or refurbished.
I’ve never used the pool. I should give that caveat as well.
The wellness area has pretty much anything I want to use or need to use for my workouts. I think that this place is fantastic. It’s never overcrowded, it’s never full of bros. Anyone I’ve ever encountered here, no matter the age or background, has been kind and considerate. I’ve been going regularly for the last three months or so and I’m starting to learn peoples names who work there. Everyone seems to really care about the work that they do, and it makes such a great experience. I’m happy that this is within walking distance of my house, just a little over a mile, but it only takes me five minutes to get there if I want to take my lunch as a mental break.

My son goes to the gym and the atmosphere is pleasant, but when I go to the pool, I have noticed that the cleaning lady is bothered by people using the Lockers and always has an unfriendly attitude. I'm sorry to say this because the other employees are very good people.

Poorly ventilated, too hot for a gym especially in this summer weather. Only three out of the six ceiling fans working for the longest time - one in the treadmill area and two in the heavy weights area. I was told two months ago that they are working on repairing the other three but nothing up to now, and when I asked again recently I was rudely told "they are broken" , they don't seem to care, probably because the gym is mostly used by black people
