Everyone is super friendly when you’re opening an account, but when you have an issue it becomes clear that they are not as knowledgeable as they try to appear and they also do not care to make an effort to help. No one answers the phone or replies to emails. My issue is due to PNC’s error - paying my credit card bill late when I scheduled it to be paid early - causing late fees and interest. This happened in April and it still is not resolved. I will be closing the checking account I’ve had for 25 years, along with my new savings and business accounts, and taking my money elsewhere.

CJ the assistant branch manager was extremely helpful and thorough when I needed help with depositing a check. He’s extremely friendly and patient with the customers as well!

My name is Mark C. Ehlmann, Sr. My bride of 43 years and I live in Harleysville, PA, and by choice, will remain as a loyal customer of PNC Bank for 27 more years, in addition to the first 27 years. You might ask why, Mark? I’m glad you asked…due to the character, work ethic, and “Simply the Best,” customer service of a professional named “CJ”, a manager from the Lansdale, PA branch. Without getting long winded about our misfortune, let it now be public knowledge of CJ’s tenacity, empathy, and other skills that allowed the opportunity to have our issue resolved to our immediate satisfaction. Keep in mind, this was not a bank error of any kind…it was third party fraud imposed on PNC and us.Job well done, CJ and we thank you for being the goodwill ambassador, that you are, for PNC.

This PNC branch is the pits. The employees are horribly bad at their customer service job. The Indian lady always talks over you and won't let you get a word in when trying to ask a question. But yet, she will remind you to fill out a survey to say how great they are which is very laughable to me.Another man who dresses in a suit and tries to be so suave is very obnoxious and a tryhard. The couple of times I had to interact with him every little detail he had to give me a hard time and I just ended up leaving very unsatisfied with my banking experience. I refuse to come to this PNC branch and actually just closed out my account recently because the branch in Souderton closed and I will not deal with these people that work at this branch. Ugh...

No one ever answers the phone at this branch no matter what time of day you call. I had to drive there 3 times to try and get assistance in person. I am still waiting for CJ the assistant bank manager to call me back. This is the second time he promised me a call back without following through. I am extremely disappointed to say the least.

How IS IT LEGAL TO CHARGE A 2% FEE, TO CASH A CHECK AT PNC BANK, WHEN IT IS A ISSUED PNC CHECK??? SO JUST BECAUSE I DONT HAVE AN ACCOUNT, I EITHER HAVE TO WAIT 7 TO 10 DAYS FOR MY CHECK TO CLEAR, AT MY BANK, OR, I HAVE TO PAY PNC BANK $54.00 TO CASH A $2600 CHECKWHICH HAS PNC PRINTED ON THE CHECK?!?! OH, AND THEY ALSO MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO GET YOUR CHECK CASHED ANYWHERE ELSE, LIKE WALMART BECAUSE THEY MAKE THE NUMBERS INVALID, Therefore, Certege's system will decline the check, forcing you to go to PNC BANK, and Pay 2% of the amount, of your check NO MATTER HOW MUCH $$$$ IT IS! PNC BANK ARE CROOKS AND SHOULD BE SUED IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT! I will be seeking legal action!

It was 10 minutes before they opened and I was trying to use my pnc card to get in to use the atm, which they allow 24hrs a day. My card wasn’t working, and I could clearly see three woman who also saw me trying to get in. It was freezing outside, and I kept trying but couldn’t get in and nobody inside seemed to care at all. Nothing good to say about this branch based off of this very poor lack of good customer service. Get better at life employees.

Horrible experience: Day 1, I came to this location and asked what documents I needed to provide to pay for the funeral of a loved one. I was told that all I needed was a death certificate and an invoice from the funeral home no problem. I told the funeral home this and In good faith the funeral took place without payment. Day 2, I came to the bank with the death certificate and the invoice from the funeral home I was turned away because the told me that I don’t have a short certificate. They said if I had a short certificate they would make one check payable to the funeral home and one check payable to the estate. Day 3, I came to the branch with the short certificate, death certificate and the invoice. Now I’m being told that they can’t make a separate check payable to the funeral home they have to make the check payable to the estate. After 3 failed attempts I’ve decided to just take the check and go to a bank that knows what they are doing. Poor service; I will never do business with this bank and I will never recommend them to anyone. The only thing PNC is good for is the ATM inside of wawa.
