The mustang I bought was full of Bondo covering rust holes. When I asked them they said the car was professionally done right. Not good!!!

I've collaborated with the men from Old Forge Motorcars on a number of occasions, and I found them to be quite amiable and knowledgeable. I've attended their Saturday Cars and Coffee gatherings, and it's a tone of fun. Since there haven't been many car shows this year, all the local men turn out on Saturdays to display their rides. Men, continue the wonderful effort!

I was using Old Forge to do some fairly minor repairs. I was going through insurance and was told that the repairs are easy and will take 2 weeks turn around time. When I called a day after agreed upon day for completion to inquire about status of my vehicle I was told that the paint job is being done and the car will be ready "tomorrow ". Long story short it took another week and a half with daily phone calls and conversations with Bob and the manager to get my car. Every day I was told that the car will be ready tomorrow with a different excuse on what is being done. I was offered no apology and of course nobody covered extra rental charges. Nobody bothered to communicate with me either about any delays.

My car was hit in August... I filed a claim immediately and took my car here due to the estimate being lower and my insurance company recommended them. They kept canceling service dates so I didn't end up getting it fixed until 12/20. They told me the job would take 5 days. 5 days came and went and I finally called them 9 days later to check the status of my vehicle. The man Bob who works there explained that their painters have Covid and that they didn't know when my car would be done. They gave me a sob story about how their painter is on a ventilator and That it is not their problem. I said well I'm sorry to hear about your coworkers but that is not my problem either. They wouldn't put me in touch with their general manager because they said he was also sick. So I asked to have my car back anyway so I can take it to someone to finish the job... the man Bob laughed and said "good luck finding a place without a waiting list" I realized he was right even though he was a total j*** about it so I decided to let them finish it but in return they needed to cover my rental car fees past the 5-7!day mark. They reluctantly agreed. 3 weeks after taking my car there they finally said it was finished but that my battery was low and that I should get it checked out soon. I picked my car up yesterday and this morning my battery was completely depleted... I couldn't even get it to jump start. While I don't believe they did anything on purpose I do believe due to the short staff that they were negligent. Maybe someone left my door open or a light on for 3 weeks which depleted my battery. So today I had to get my car towed because I'm a single woman who is in between moving without a car. if they knew my battery was worn why did they let me drive off of their property or offer to fix it? Probably because they didn't want to pay for my rental car another day or two. These people are negligent. And rude. They have no general manager. And their staff has had Covid for weeks. Nor should they have been disclosing their own employees medical status with a customer for sympathy. They should not have taken my car in if they couldn't get the job done plain and simple. And Bob just sucks all around. I would hope no one would do that to someone's battery on purpose... however the reviews I'm reading and my experience their I wouldn't put it past them to have been spiteful and caused me to replace my battery knowing that there would be no way to prove it without creating another claim. So instead I'm letting the community know that this business is terrible.... They basically hold your car hostage. I am so mad and so absolutely disgusted with these idiots. Especially Bob and the general manager for allowing to run the way they do. This completely ruined my holiday and my move, and I since I can't prove negligence on paper I hope my review at least makes you second guess getting service through them. There are plenty of other businesses that do a better job. I used to take my car to pioneer auto body and they do a fabulous job. Go there.

I used Old Forge Collision Center twice in the past two months. Both experiences were excellent. They were professional, easy to deal with and had excellent communication. Both times my car was returned to me after being cleaned which I did not expect.

Horrible horrible place hands down. My car was sent in on 12 27 2019 and I still have not received my car yet. They tell me they don't do rentals, but on website it says they do. I got 3 calls telling me my car was ready, only to call next day and find out another week longer each time. Dan who I spoke to is a compulsive liar and doesn't care about the customer, but hounding the insurance company for money and holding car hostage. It is now end of January 2020 and car still in shop. I told them I need rental because my insurance 30 day coverage was up. Now I'm 600 dollars in rental fees and 500 deductible. They could care less. I did not even receive one apology from staff. I will never use them again, and id suggest you shouldn't either unless you want your car in shop for a long time.

After my 20th time in since they opened, I finally realized I could review them on YELP. Over the years, anytime we needed any type of bodywork, paint, pinstripes, or body-related mechanical repairs, Old Forge is the only place to go. Years ago, a driver smashed into my 3-day old car, and pushed me into the car stopped in front of me. I hadn't even washed it yet, and it appeared totaled. Old Forge returned it to me as it looked in the showroom, and it was such great work, I never had a single crash-related issue with it. As a former Auto-Industry worker, I've seen some of the worst bodywork and paint on this planet. I use O.F. so we never have the "I hope it looks good" stress. The paintwork is FLAWLESS, and always matches perfectly. The employees are super-friendly, efficient, helpful, and understand when you let them know that you love your ride, and it needs to be perfect at pick-up. It ALWAYS is! The entire staff gets kudos for turning out the best work I've ever seen, time after time.

They did not replace all necessary parts after an accident, shortly after the repairs where complete I had numerous problems with things that where failed to be replaced while it getting covered by insurance. They also lied about the condition of my car. Wouldn't trust them, always get second option.
