I was shopping at the Laurel House earlier today. Got lots of neat clothes for my daughter and myself. Prices are fantastic for the quality of the clothing!!!!!! I came home and remembered that I had been at the Laurel House for domestic abuse back in 1985, with my 3 year old daughter, and 8 month old son. I'm so glad I stopped in and able to give back.

I LOVE this thrift shoppe. I always find very nice items here. They have nice gift items, menswear, even plus size clothes. Remember to bring your own bags, they are trying not to use them there. This place has a cute boutique feel to it.

I love coming to this shop with my boyfriends mom. I have found a lot of great finds for amazing prices. Usually on the weekend one of the ladies who works there is so nice and very delightful to speak to. She even knocks some money off the final price if an item is slightly marked, frayed, or damaged in any way which i think is so nice. However, we came last Wednesday sept. 17th. The lady who was working at the time was miserable to say the least. Almost acted like it was a bother to ring someone up. There was a really beautiful pashmina scarf that I wanted to purchase along with a few other things too. The pashmina was fraying in quite a few areas so when I went to purchase my items I asked her if she would let me purchase the scarf for a few dollars less and she said they do not do that there. I told her that a few weeks ago another lady did. She was very rude to us and not pleasant at all. I decided not even to take the pashmina scarf but I bought the other two dresses I had. Great place for fabulous vintage finds but if this lady is working it is definitely not a pleasant experience.

I’m writing in reference to Stephany Fanara’s review, I was with her on September 17th, I always enjoy coming here and find fabulous things. I usually enjoy chatting with the ladies that are working, but on this day, the woman who was at the register was flat out miserable, another young lady that was shopping was not being treated very nicely, either. It was like we were an inconvenience to her, she didn’t acknowledge us when we entered the store, either. I left the store with a bad feeling..I understand you explained that prices are not lowered because of a flaw, but you didn’t mention this woman’s behavior..
