my experience with the Lugerman gunsmith service was excellent. they performed a slide bushing replacement and tuned the slide. they also did a trigger job. everything exceeded my expectations. the trigger job is like butter. the wait time for was lengthy but well worth it. reasonable pricing for quality work. i strongly recommend Eugene and Sal for all your gunsmith needs. I had the good fortune to have Mr. Golubtsov work on a navy luger, many years ago. And since then he has sent me numerous parts, and done more work for me as well. I am luckly yo have him as a resource. good smiths are hard to come by these days, and eugene is just super. I recommend him.

he sold me a red army tt33 that didn't work. he claims he rebuilds the guns to last 100 years, but I could not get 30 rounds thru it without it jamming. I sent it back for repair and he charged me 240 dollars. he said it was dirty and needed springs and a new clip. well then it was dirty when he sold it to me and if he really was as good as he thinks he is he would have repaired it under warranty. the gun didn't get dirty enough to not work with only 30 rounds thru it. money hungry. don,t buy from this guy

I had bought a Yugoslavian M24/47 from them for a total of $757 (which is already expensive for these rifles) because it looked really nice and they said it was in fully working order when I asked them. However, when I went to the range with it I found out that after three rounds it would no longer eject casings, the bolt would get stiff, and stick when locked down (requiring force to move). When I brought it back to them the first time explaining the issue, they said they needed to order the barrel polishing tool, and that I should start using a heat gun and break cleaner to remove it myself before bringing it back in for a barrel polishing. So I left and decided to come back later on.Around two weeks later I came back in since they finally had the tool, and they said a base price of $180 for the deep cleaning. However a week later when I came to pick it up, they charged me $232 for a deep cleaning of cosmoline which was inside the rifle, saying that they polished the barrel under warranty. Not to mention they didn't even fully clean it, and left some cosmoline in it, and they had me run to the bank to grab cash so I could pay for my rifle because their payment system was down... If I recall correctly he said he discounted me $8 for having to come back with cash.I've since found out that the bolt gets stuck after pulling the trigger, requiring force to move out from the locked state, so they didn't even fully fix the problem.I won't be going back to them ever again. This is all for a rifle that was supposed to be in fully working order, and now not only am I out all this extra money I paid for the rifle, but also a deep cleaning which wasn't so deep nor did it fully fix the rifle. I've essentially paid $989 dollars for a rifle that I could have picked up in similar shape online (even with shipping to a FFL) for $650, and it's still not even working right and I now have to go elsewhere to get it properly looked at.I wont be coming back. This is not good customer service. I will be going to other surplus stores and paying half the cost for a regular deep cleaning, and $80 less for a deep cosmoline clean where the gun is actually fully cleaned out and not just half cleaned. Not to mention they'll sell you a working gun or sort it out for you without charging an arm and a leg!

Absolutely terrible. Received my 300 Black Out after 51 days of BS. It arrived with a broken charge handle and a cross threaded nut that holds the stock on. I'm not gonna hold my breath on them making it right. Doubt it will happen. If you haven't bought from these guys, DON'T!!

Giving 1 star because there is no option for less. We purchased 5 total ARs - paid over $2000 through internet sale site immediately for the first 4 with a promise of merchandise in 7-10 business days. Even with counting from when he received money from internet sale site it has been it has been a total of over 3 weeks and we have received 1 shake n bake rifle .... and he had the nerve to ask me for payment for the fifth rifle! No communication, finally stated he couldn't refund our money because he didn't have it, it is "tied up in inventory ". Reported to internet sale site and no response. However today, there were 5 new filings on the site. FRAUD!

While I can't attest to their practices in the restoration, sale, or craftsmanship of their weapons- I can say their ammo prices were insanely higher than most competitors by at least $10

I inherited a ww2 Luger and found Lugerman on line. I made an appointment to speak with Eugene and learn about the gun and possibly some history.I had the best possible experience! Eugene took the time to thoroughly explain everything I could ever want to know about the the gun. He was incredibly thoroughly knowledgeable about the Luger, its history, operation, care and feeding etc. He cleaned and service the gun and helped me complete the weapon with magazines and a holster. I came to learn that he hand makes a 45 cal version of the luger which is an incredible story in itself. If you have a Luger or are just into guns do yourself a favor and meet this guy.

As part of a literal bucket list I bought two guns, one a C96 red 9 and the other a Colt 1902 military. Total price $7200. Took over a year to get. Both guns were absolutely beautiful. I doubt that they looked that good when they were new. Both were meant to be shot A LOT! Just before the Colt was shipped I was told that they could not find a decent barrel. I suggested waiting until one was available or, if that was not possible, I would pay to have a new one made. Alas the gun was just shipped.Neither worked. In the case of the C96 the barrel literally fell off after 160 rounds. In the case of the Colt the accuracy was so poor that after 100 rounds I just gave up shooting it.Both were returned and it was agreed that the $7200 would be paid over time. That was the last I ever heard. Well not quite. The C96 was to be rebuilt and sold again. The Colt was rather quickly sold. I, however, never got any refund.I would STRONLY recommend not doing business with these people!
