Bought a 2020 kia forte from here in November of 22' with 20,000 miles on it. Engine blew at 68,000 miles. Bought the top of the line MaxCare policy they offered. Was just told Engine not covered and no loaner car was given. Have been paying out of pocket for a rental for over a month while they decided if it was covered or not. Now it's $8,000 for a Engine in a car with 68,000 miles on it. Absolute worst company to deal with. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely livid with the situation and lack of effort to satisfy a customer. I will tell everyone and anyone looking for a vehicle to stay clear of this place.

I am glade I visited this longhorn PA CarMax center for getting evaluation for my car. They are very systematic handled every thing very professionally. This center is very spacious and clean. I with no hesitation recommend anybody to use their service.

The buying experience was very smooth and quick. The non negotiating aspect makes it easier. I did my due diligence in regards to checking the price. My one and only concern was the detail job on my vehicle when I took delivery. Other than that, I would buy from them again…

I’ve never sold a used car before…I’ve always traded in my car to the dealer who sold me my new car. I didn’t know much about CarMax and I didn’t know anyone that had used CarMax to sell their car, so I was anxious about the process. CarMax made it simple and easy. Took me less than an hour to have my car assessed and process all the paperwork to sell my car for a very satisfactory price. Kee, the representative in Langhorne was knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I will always highly recommend CarMax.

I would NOT recommend!! I got an SUV that needed lots of work done to it! They did pay to get the work done but I was without a car 4 days!! It also had to be taking back to the shop 5 different times to be fix right. I had to pay money to use another vehicle. Also they did NOT clean the SUV it was filthy inside I spent hours cleaning the Vehicle!! Also the oil was not changed I never heard of selling a usedvehicle without changing the oil. When I took it to a shop to get the oil changed they tell me it’s gonna need brakes and rotors front and back very soon. Plus the windshield had several small chips with the recent heat wave the one chip turned into a crack so now I have to replace the windshield. I contacted a manager there by the name of Mike with no response back. Car Max in Langhorne, Pennsylvania will sell any vehicle without checking it out apparently! I am paying 18K before tax and interest for something that should have never been sold in the condition that it’s in!! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! I will NEVER get another vehicle from there again!!

So while my experience buying a vehicle and selling my vehicle was great, my experience returning a vehicle was horrible. And now that I've completed the sale of my vehicle, the fiasco I endured returning the vehicle I purchased is completely unnecessary. I wrote a personal check for the purchase of a vehicle and I returned it 5 days later after being unsatisfied with the mechanical issue I was seeing with it. They tell you that all refunds have to go through the headquarters in VA but almost all the locations that buy vehicles have the capability to print checks. The check was supposed to be sent within 7 days. I didn't get my refund until after 3 weeks. And I had to call the store, the headquarters, the customer relations number multiple times, and whatever other number I could find. It's ridiculous considering that I went into a location to sell my vehicle and walked out with a check not even 2 hours later. Horrible model in my opinion and I'll likely never buy another vehicle from CarMax because of that experience. I'd gladly sell a vehicle again though.
