“I had the best experience this morning when I went for my flu shot and covid shot!!! The new pharmacist was sooooo nice, kind, funny, down to earth, thorough and very knowledgeable. I had such a great time! I felt like I was amongst family....a great feeling for a small town pharmacy. The staff was wonderful and so kind. I just want to celebrate these folks today. They work so hard...I know they don't always get the appreciation they deserve. Thank you for all that you do! ❤️ You not only brighten the store, but you brightened my day! ?”

“Store is usually well stocked and clean. This store tends to have a lot of older folks shopping there and I feel bad for some of them because there are not a lot of cashier lines for them. The lines tend to be a little long because we all know they won’t use the self checkouts. With all the employees that tend to be looking for something to do, I think having more cashiers during peak times would be good. Most importantly, Tuesdays should be fully manned due to senior discount day. Just an observation”

“We were traveling out of town for the holidays and my daughter became very sick on Christmas Eve and we needed medicine for her on Christmas Day. There were no pharmacies open, but my parents have been longtime customers of Sloan’s. We left an after hours message and our call was promptly returned. The pharmacist said he could go in and fill the prescription. You do not get service like that from the big box pharmacies! We are so grateful to this pharmacy and will forever support them when we are in the area!”

“Excellent place to get your gasoline after shopping at the giant grocery store. Your gas savings can add up the more groceries you buy. Plus you can use gas buddy for seven cents off right now. I have used Giant gasoline for a number of years. You can even wipe your windows clean with the squeegees. they also have air available and you can use Apple Pay I believe it’s $1.50 for about three minutes. Never had a problem here.”

“While I don't use them for prescriptions I have found them a reliable source for hard to find old school medical remedies, oddball over the counter medications, and the like. I first came to Wiley's when my dad was in a nursing home. They were constantly changing his over the counter meds and suppliments and were very specific to certain mg varieties which were hard to find at CVS. They would not accept any subsitutions. Every time there was a mg dosage for a medication I couldn't find at CVS I found it at Wiley's. Every single time. Recently I had a splinter I couldn't extract on my own. An older co-worker recommended an old school cream that would help bring it to the surface. I went to two CVS locations, dealt with three employees plus a pharmacist (who never even heard of it) with no luck before I remembered Wiley's. Sure enough not only did both the tech and the pharmacist know of it, but they had one on the shelf. Had they not they were willing to order for next day pick up. Now that's customer service without having to hunt anyone down! They are a small town, locally owned pharmacy with a gift shop inside. While they don't have the inventory CVS does, they have the basics + the hard to find. Check them out when you can't find it elsewhere.”

“Yes, CVS is huge. Walgreens is enormous. Even so, when you need a speciality prescription or durable medical good, Sloan's Pharmacy is your place. My mom needed a very specific type of bandage. I knew I could get it for her at Sloan's. No, they didn't have it in stock - it was so specialized I didn't expect them to - but they ordered it that day and I had it three days later. They called me when it came in and had everything including my invoice pulled up so all I had to do was grab the box, sign my name and head on my way. A few weeks ago, my dad had an uncommon prescription. CVS pointed him to Sloan's who, of course, had it in stock and waiting for him by the time he walked to the counter. What I find fun at Sloan's is all of the candy - my old favorites, Mallow Cups and Beechnut gum were there as were other new and vintage candy, mints and gum. I could see myself getting into trouble if I had to wait too long for a script. Sloan's takes most insurance plans including my out of state plan. For durable medical goods, they will submit the claim for you and bill for the difference. They also offer delivery which I appreciate for my elderly parents. Every employee I interacted with was friendly and helpful. It was a nice change from that big box pharmacy down the road.”

“Weis market in Mount Joy has vastly improved. A lot of people are available for assistance and staff are always friendly. A lot of self check out has now been added. If you have a problem, plenty of staff to help. Prices are as good as Giant, and sometimes better. This is the store to go to to get your purified bottled water at a decent price. They have definitely made a lot of improvements at the store.”

Wegmans is really top of the line when it comes to grocery stores and I really wish we had these or something like them in the Midwest.The grocery and specialty item selection is expansive, the customer service is great and the prices are right on par with other, less nice, grocery stores. I don't know how they do it?This particular location has a great ready made food area including sushi and hot food, a sandwich shop, and a coffee station. There is a nice wine/beer shop within and an amazing selection of fresh cheeses and meats. My favorite part is the bakery; so many great things to choose from!”
