Doing a big remodel. I went to Yale with the intention to buy everything as a one-stop shop. Signs all over the door saying the retail showroom is by appointment only. Ridiculous, I'm not begging someone to take my money, I went elsewhere.

Okay your not even allowed in the lighting showroom without a appointment. I called and said on vacation till next week. I drove down the road to the Lighting Gallery at chelsea square and bought lights.

I had a very disappointing experience with Yale Lighting in Lancaster. I visited the store in December, but they did not have what I was looking for on display. Rebecca helped me review some items I had selected online, but I left without making a purchase. Weeks later, I called and placed an order over the phone. I never got a receipt, but later signed for them in the Wyomissing location. Once I got them home, I was disappointed that they were not what I had envisioned. I returned the items to the store, and only found out that there was a 25% restocking fee when I got a credit on my card that didn't equal the purchase amount! (Two of the boxes were not even opened) This was never mentioned to me in all my interactions with the staff, nor was I offered a store credit as an alternative. This seems very short sighted in this age of online buying and competition. I will never purchase from Yale again!

Enter supply store, an unfamiliar place for me. I wasn't greeted nor did I know I needed to grab a number, funny the number pulled was well above my height so i didn't see it or the sign. So I start searching for what I needed, found my item compared to picture I took. In the mist I hear a number being called and a gentlemen getting taking care of right away. That's when I saw where the next person pulled a number meanwhile three people are ahead of me. So I grab a number... greeting is extremely important. Hello, good day, grabe a number we'll be with you shortly. Something!

My Electrician sent me to Yale Lighting Concept to pick out an outdoor lantern for the Churchtown Inn Bed and Breakfast front entrance. I hesitated doing to as it is quite a distance from the Inn. However, my visit today was well worth the trip. The store is beautiful the most exquisite lighting I've ever seen. I've seen beautiful lighting in the castles and museums throughout Europe. Yale has elegant and modern. Peter was extremely helpful and answered lots of my questions, and we were able to make a quick decision on what I needed allowing me to wander through the store dreaming of where I could use this store's beautiful lighting. I will be returning. Thanks for all your help.
