Complete disappointment. Absolutely unprofessional. My participant has a new coordinator every 6 weeks, we never meet them, it doesn't matter - but they have one important job - which is to submit budget hours monthly so we get paid. They manage to drop the ball every. single. time. We're a perpetual guinea pig for new staff to mess up on and screw over by not getting paid for days, even weeks. I was just hung up on for requesting to speak to a supervisor over leaving a message on a stranger's voicemail. Sad and disappointing.

Horrible company. The coordinators never get back to you, the administration is as incompetent as they come and all they do is throw you to voice mail and ignore your calls. If you have a problem, don't expect them to help you. Find another agency for your own good because these people are the WORST!

This company installed a walk in shower for my disabled tenant in my home and did an incredible job. The guys that did the work were extremely professional and very polite. Awesome work really appreciate it.

WHEN my daughter was first assigned to UDS they genuinely seemed to care. NOW not so much, seems to me at this point they collect a paycheck and screw assisting anyone.1. they did in the beginning help setup new hires, by contacting them and getting the process started and finished. NOT ANYMORE2. they used to actively keep me posted about services and or access to services for my adult daughter, NOW you can spend 20-30 minutes going through their AUTOMATED PHONE SYSTEM and maybe get a live person.3. Since COVID they have in my opinion been beyond USELESS.4. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, I will be contacting my local State Representative and COMPLAINING.5. UNFORTUNATELY before I signed my daughter up for this service I didn't realize how MONEY HUNGRY they are. - My reasoning is quite simple 3 years later I find out that if I had gone with a NON-PROFIT organization that people I hire for my daughters care would be getting $21+ an hour. UDS lmao, these money grubers pay less than $13 an hour. (yes I could change the program I put my child in, BUT THEN she would be put on a waiting list, for who knows how long and lose all current services until she is accepted. ACCORDING TO UDS REPRESENTATIVE) -If you end up hospitalized and can't care for your child/parent YOU WILL HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS to get them to pay for emergency/extended hours to any DIRECT CARE WORKER over 8 hours a day even though they will be caring for your child/parent 24/7 UNTIL YOU RETURN HOME, IF YOU RETURN HOME.

It's not just about the dogs, (although they rule in my world I confess). I had a vague idea of what UDS did, but after a tour yesterday, I'm truly amazed. The breadth of the services is astounding. It's wonderful to know there is a place that serves so many people, of vastly different ages, challenges and needs, headquartered right here in Central PA. Thank you for the difference you are making ,UDS!

What does this place even do?! Every time my mother needed to utilize her service coordinator for resources, she was just given a long list of names and told to blindly choose one. 90% of the resources they provided her don't even serve the county she lives in. They don't fact check the information they give out to people. I should be paid her service coordinator's salary because I basically did her job the entire time my mother was working with them. Not to mention her service coordinator was NEVER at work, I constantly had to email upper management to get an answer for anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone in need of service assistance. They literally do nothing but give you one headache after another.

I have been with United Disabilities Services for several years now . . . even though they are over-taxed with so many customers and so many things to do for us, UDS provides EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES! Out of all the Support Services around, UDS by far surpasses them! TYSVM UDS for providing us with the much needed services here in our home!
