My favorite local bookstore! I love all of the events they have including the new Journaling night, Sip and Stitch, and the Boozy Bookfairs at Wyndridge. Their new stationery section is so cute and has a ton of supplies! I’ve also attended the fill a bag sale where you can get ARC copies and other books that they get sent for a flat rate (and as many as you can fit in the bag).

Stopped here to support the local girl scouts by ordering cookies, then stopped inside. Wonderful old house now a book store. Everything here seems to be released within the last 5 years. They had a good selection of fiction, non fiction, kids, and lots of teen books. Loved all the hand written notes from employees about book synopsis or recommendations.

Such a cozy, inviting, and inspiring space. As you walk through, there are handwritten recommendations and reviews for books. The books are well organized by genre. Lots of places to sit and drinks available, too. I love it. This is a must go place! ♡

Really cute local bookshop, my wife fell in love with it. We’re about 45 minutes away but we’re planning to make semi regular stops there because she liked it so much.

The worst thing about Pocket Books for me is the fact that I live so far from it! Love this place, it’s very cozy without feeling cramped and the staff is so friendly. I make sure to stop in whenever I’m in Lancaster because they always have something new going on.

Pocket Books is the local bookstore that dreams are made of. The owners are the heart of the business, and the heart is big.

The absolute loveliest bookstore. The owners are so sweet and helpful (Jess watched my sleeping baby while I browsed, and Julie recommended the best books), the selection is so thoughtfully curated, the merch is beautiful, the color scheme is on point. There's even a fully-stocked changing station in the bathroom -- they thought of everything! I was in town visiting for the weekend, so my only regrets are that (1) this bookstore doesn't exist in my city and (2) I was too close to my baggage weight limit to buy all the books I wanted to read.

Truly my favorite place (not just bookstore/gift shop) in Lancaster! I’m so glad I found a new “home base bookstore” in my Lancaster, having moved from a city with many great bookstores. Top notch selection, great atmosphere, really kind owners and employees, lots of cool events. An essential place to visit in Lancaster.

After this shop hosted a reading I attended, I decided to return and check out their books ?. What a wonderful selection- including several dear children’s books that I perused and bought. One book that I wanted ( not in stock) the proprietor cheerfully informed me she could order and have within a few days. I will certainly be returning to Pocket Books. Even free easy parking was available.

So cute! Is a very pretty old house that doesn't look like a bookstore yet it is! Full of new and old books as well as cards, gifts, and bookmarks! Definitely coming again!

Sweet gem of a bookshop. Got a few kid books when I was in town. The kid area has some rocking chairs and a small selection but was a nice treat to see a cultivated selection
