Malfeasance, Misfeasance, Emotional Stress:During my four years with PNC I have had money go missing from my account with PNC management unable to produce bank statements beyond 3 months or be able to explain omissions in said statements. Their staff more often than not were contemptuous towards me and dilatory as I unsuccessfully tried to get answers. In fact, I would often access my account telephonically to review my bank balance sometimes two or three times daily. Finally, I just couldn't take it anymore so as of this morning after many attempts between 09:00-12:30 I closed my account by phone. How is PNC allowed to remain business?!

Not enough can be said positively about PNC BANK and all of its branches. I first became aware of PNC Bank as they are in every WAWA Convenience Store and offer free ATM service to everyone shopping at WAWA, whether or not you are a Customer of PNC. The Main Office, and all braches are very helpful and extremely polite

I have recently become aware of PNC's economic discrimination and find it important to shed light on the policies that aim to make it so PNC does not serve persons of low income. A check was written out to a man using a PNC account and he took the check to the Lancaster branch to cash it. He was asked to show two forms of ID. They accepted his State-issued ID, but NOT his Social Security Card nor his Birth Certificate. Instead they asked for a credit card, passport, or vehicle registration. A credit card or vehicle registration does not prove your identity any more than a SS Card of Birth Certificate. But a credit card and vehicle registration do show you have money. And that seems to be what is important for PNC.The issuer of the check was even there, in shock that they are turning this man with 3 federally recognized IDs away. Because this man cannot afford a passport, vehicle or credit card, PNC believes he should not be entitled to services they would provide for anyone with enough money to buy a car or open a credit card. After witnessing this I am closing my account without a doubt and would advise PNC Bankers to keep in mind other options.
