Bad 1st experience. Went to the website and it said they take name brands. Clearly we all know it's used clothes. So we took some stuff in and they refused all of it due to normal wear and use and also said it's not new enough. Like what sense does that make?? Will never be going back here unless policies change because they are way too picky especially when you clearly are selling dirty shoes and clothes that have obvious wear and tear and discoloring.

They gave me good money for 5 pairs of sneakers. But clothing is a different story. I worked at DSW and Rackroom. Shoes are always better and easier to sell. Either way I like them. Every so often they have cool long sleeves that I like.

Just brought a pair of jeans with a $65 price tag on them never worn and a pair with a $54 price tag on them never worn and they took both and gave me $17. So ridiculous save ur clothes and sell them online.

Good variety of clothes and the buys are always pretty fair. Staff is not friendly and rude.

Not handicap accessible. Has a door on the lower floor but “you’re not allowed to use it “. If you need a wheelchair do not bother coming here go somewhere else.

I take nice, name brand pieces of clothing here to consign and they want to give you $2 for it or they don’t take it at all. The clothing selection is awful unless it is the athletic sale.

We where shopping with our family, and we left because of the type of music they where playing and what they were singing about awful we left. You can tell they have a bunch of kids running the store with now supervision of any adult running the store.

Wow. So unimpressed! Employees are not helpful, and clothing is so random, with random pricing. I found an identical sweatshirt to what I was wearing, same brand, quite literally, the sweatshirt off my back. Which I had bought for seven dollars (new) online, and they were selling for $10 (used) in store.It’s like Plato‘s closet is trying to pretend they are not selling, used clothes, and upping the price to the same or more costly then a department store selling new clothing.

Disappointed. The workers watched you as if you were going to rob them, their prices are OUTRAGEOUS and it wasn't worth the trip. The platos closet in Wyomissing on the other hand is awesome, they have WAY better prices and their workers have always been friendly. Great place to consign.

Went there to donate some clothes to earn some extra cash. Had called in earlier in the week about their donation protocols, as well as the morning before and they said anything name brand with it's tag can be exchanged for %10 back. I brought in 2 large bags of clothes and shoes all name-brand from Hollister, American Eagle, Coles, Hot Topic, and Old Navy. In the end they took a single shirt and I got $2 back and returned home with the rest. Along with the disappointment of my clothing donation the service was disgraceful and the one employee that checked me out was just straight up disrespectful.

This store is basically a scam. They say they will take name brand clothing items, I brought in 3 trash bags well filled with MANY different name brand items, they took little to NONE of my clothing, also not the mention the employee had no idea what she was doing, whether she was new or not, she needed better training. My friend brought in 3 name brand shoes, they even had the EXACT same pair of shoes on the shelf while we were there, and they did NOT take his shoes. Out of alp 3 bags of clothing they only took 5 pieces, leaving me with $23.58, waste of time and honest to God not worth it. Also not to mention they are not very thrifty.
