BJ's Raw Pet Food
1518 Millport Rd, LancasterBlue absolutely loves BJs Raw Pet Food. She gets so excited to go to the farm and loves coming home with so many snacks. Her favorite is the Venison Blend, this week. We also love Ultimate Mix, Premium Mix, and Raw Paw Mix to cover all the bases. Having a complete and balanced meal to feed my baby is so important to us. And at 35 min from our house to the farm you cant beat it.

1519 Lititz Pike, LancasterI will say this place is awesome! I get so many coupons! With my pack of dogs it’s very important that prices are reasonable. They tend to have treats and raw food sales all the time. Much better than shopping at petsmart. I rarely go anywhere else now.

VCA Bridgeport Animal Hospital
1251 Ranck Mill Rd, LancasterThis was our first time visit to this vca hospital. We rescued a shelter dog and naturally she was a bit nervous. But from the front desk, to the assistants to Dr. Jon, everyone was very nice and sadie, our dog was great. I have no problem returning here this week for her influenza vaccine and all other visits!

Neffsville Veterinary Clinic
2555 Lititz Pike, LancasterI live in NYC and bring my pup to Neffsville when I come to visit my family. I like the groomers as well as the vet side. The staff is so friendly even though Bogey can be feisty. The vets answer all my questions in terms I can understand. The vet techs and staff at the desks are also helpful and kind. Seems like a good place to work and that reflects in their service towards owners. Bogey comes here for check ups/vaccines, dental visits, ACL surgery.
I also love the bow ties someone local makes and they sell. I almost always end up buying one each time I’m in .

Manheim Pike Veterinary Hospital
1669 Manheim Pike, LancasterI am the owner of a behavioral Dog training company in Lancaster county, And one of my clients who has a highly reactive dog… Human reactive and dog reactive… Was kind enough to reach out to me this past weekend and share with Me her wonderful experience with Dr.Le and his nurse in handling, examining, and diagnosing their highly reactive dog. My client sent me pictures of her dog in the office on muzzle looking calm and comfortable… Here is what she texted to me, “Dr. Le was able to do a thorough exam on him. His nurse was very calm and patient with him. She was by his side the whole time and he even laid down for his Xray. And when I told them that (our dog) can be reactive with strangers, they told me to call when I got there and they would bring us in the side/back way. He did great entering the quiet hallway instead of a lobby. I would definitely recommend them for reactive dogs! ❤️”. Owning a reactive dog is such a struggle, emotionally and physically, so getting this kind of review from one of my clients Just warms my heart to no end! I will definitely be recommending them to All of my clients with Reactive dogs!

Happy Tails - Diane Hodges DVM
823 Rohrerstown Rd, LancasterVERY PLZD! Froelsy had 6/17dental; 6 extractions - 5 expected, 1 not b/c it only showed on radiograph which we were informed could disclose unforseen probs to human eye. 1hr of surg; fee less than lowre guesstimate (were given low & high); itemized print out. Intake smooth, efficient; Dr Battah called w/ post surg follow-up; Discharge instructions thorough re/ protocol for next 5-7 days; pain meds for 5 days; HT called day after surg to ck on Froelsy. Follow up visit in 2 wks. Don't see how negative surg work could be an issue UNLESS ppl don't follow post surg instructions, animal does something it shouldn't, or healing ability is compromised/slow.

Cleo learned well and we learned some new tricks along the way as well!My only issue is that our most recent class we didn't recieve our dogs little paper and I've tried to contact the staff via email and haven't heard anything. Once Upon a Dog Tail LLC
32 Spencer Ave, LancasterSophie, Cara, Whitney & the entire OUDT team make my heart smile. My clowder is spoiled thanks to this crew. I can be in a different state on a subway or a boat and receive pictures and commentary that make me laugh and enjoy the present moment. Trustworthy, ethical, think outside the box, and don't back down from any challenging situation (i.e. convincing a Dane who hates rain that he should head out to enjoy his walk). I've been disappointed by neighbors/friends - not this crew! The app is so easy to utilize as well - check it out!

Faithful Companion Dog Training, LLC
931 Valley Rd, LancasterBonnie saved me from having to give back my purebred Lakie! I had resident Wire Fox Terrier and added a Lakeland. They would fight over resources and misplaced aggression from the neighbor's dog. A popular "certified" trainer (no degree) told me the 4-month-old Lakeland was "deviant" and "mis-wired." As tears streamed down my face, she offered to 'take him off my hands" - a very expensive, very cute dog. I called the breeder, who said the "trainer" was wrong: the Lakeland was submissive in the litter, and my stress was adding to their stress. Then I called Bonnie. Results were amazing. I learned techniques that improved the relationship between the 2 dogs. I learned how to bette read their behavior, which is subtle. They were never "buddy buds," but with 2 unrelated terriers, you don't expect that. They got along well after training: no more fights over resources.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Freshly Greek
2355 Oregon Pike, LancasterA group of us (about 15 ladies) went to Freshly Greek and had the best time! We were treated to a variety of appetizers and then we all ordered meals off the menu. My chicken gyro was very substantial and I also enjoyed the fries. (I had leftovers the next day because the portion was big). The restaurant is designed well and is a fun place for a girls night out. No question-I would come back again.

Butter and Bean Cafe
307 Stanley K Tanger Dr Suite 307, LancasterThey were Very helpful and kind. I loved how they had 6 different sugar free flavors- 3 of them are made in-house (sweetener is sucralose). I had the pumpkin which was very good and didn’t have that sickly sweet tang that some sf flavors have. They were also very accommodating with making a bread less sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich.- they also have a few salads but I didn’t try them. This place is Keto, sf, diabetic friendly.
Very quiet and peaceful when I was there. A little small for big groups.

Butter and Bean-Lancaster City
100 S Queen St, LancasterI came to Butter & Bean looking forward to an Iced Butter Latte. It was unlucky day and this location was out of the butter syrup. They would be getting more later in the day. However, I was on the last day of my vacation and leaving for home after that stop. The sever was very nice and not knowing I was on vacation gave me a rewards card for a free butter latte the next time I came in. I ordered a hazelnut truffle mocha. However, even though it sounded like chocolate goodness it was mild in flavor. My husband had a peach and strawberry smoothie that was excellent‼ Made me wish I had gone the smoothie route. Not sure if I will come across one again. If I do I will hopefully get to try the butter latte!
