They're always there when you need them. The staff is welcoming. Mangat keeps later hours than the surrounding bodegas. It's a convenience store not a gas station.

Is not educated in accessibility laws and legally protected service dogs who are medically necessary under ADA laws. Walked in tonight for a soda after a long walk and was kicked out at the sight of my dog, despite her clear service dog identification with vest. She is not an emotional support animal; she is a service animal.When I walked in and was told to leave, I shared that she is a service dog and protected by ADA law, that she is with me 100% of the time for a disability. I was dismissed anyway.To have a medical condition that requires a trained dog to perform tasks already feels embarrassing on its own some days. But when someone kicks you out of the establishment for having a medical disability, that's even more embarrassing and humiliating. It is also grossly ableist. I wonder if people with wheelchairs, hearing aids, or someone who is blind with a seeing eye dog is also turned away. If you have any physical impairment, disability, or medical condition, you will not be welcomed here.I will never shop here and I will discourage anyone from even considering this store. The next stop is to contact the Better Business Bureau and anyone who deals non-compliance in ADA federal law.
