Worst company. They are the only game in town and they know it. Can't do a payment plan, only available when I'm working, no customer service, website doesn't work and is outdated. They force you to call to tell them when you've made a payment online to update your account. This place is a joke.

Typical sociopathic Lancaster business. Shut down our block for a month and a half and didn't work for most of the day or most days. Who cares about us anyway?

Horrible experience! Turned off our gas mistakenly. Trying to schedule someone to come out to turn it back on is now a complete nightmare. You can only talk to someone at the call center.

12/20/18 Well today my son needed to get out of the driveway and a bigger trailer was parked over my driveway. Gave my son a rough time/mouthy/rude till my son said he was going to call the police .... then they were sweet as pie. Yeah right. Well may be I should find out where all these guys live and park over their driveway..... Hmmm may be something to think about.....

If you're looking for gas jobs done on the cheap this is the place to go. On the other hand if you're looking for quality work, professional installers, and a neat job it is best to pay the extra money to go elsewhere. I've had three negative experiences out of total of just as many interactions with UGI read on..... My 2002 gas furnace install. Their price was about $1,000 cheaper than the rest. The salesman was professional and educated in his craft. I felt like I could trust them. He promised me an install that would be efficient, professional, and set the standards for other companies, after all this is UGI, isn't that would you would expect. What I got: uneducated workers who knew how to INSTALL but that was about it, they couldn't answer any of my questions, and could provide no information on the operation of my system. They were in/out....ALOT and made themselves quite at home. I felt like suddenly 4 construction workers were now my roommates. Where's the respect? This was MY home not theirs. When they left the ductwork they installed was flimsy and illy connected. My father inspected it and said it should have had some sort of connectors every so many inches, there were none. Air could easily seep out of the seems that weren't sealed with duct tape. Overall it was a lazy, low quality job. With that being said they did make good on it, with my dad acting as their supervisor since they couldn't identify the problems, after all they are just labors, not hvac professionals. My dad should not have had to supervise the UGI staff in order for me to get a decent install...isn't that what job foreman's are for? Fast forward a few years, a different house and different (new system) I called them for a routine cleaning. My boyfriend meet with the guy who did his job and pointed out a few things we "might want to take care of" that weren't serious. He said my boyfriend was capable of handling these items whenever and it wasn't pressing. Of course this was just added to his never ending honey do list and forgotten. Until a few years later when I get a very threatening letter from UGI then the township. WTF Is this all about I wondered? A call to UGI revealed that the tech that had serviced our furnace a few years earlier had quit unexpectedly and when they went thru his truck they found years' worth of paperwork, violations, and serious repairs that needed to be done. Ours included. Apparently the list of items he recommended were serious and required by code to be performed. Now township gave us a deadline or face a fine and our unit was flagged and couldn't be used until these items were addressed. So all of a sudden this short list of items to do at our leisure became a major problem and inconvenience. Makes you wonder what kind of people they hire over there at UGI. My third experience was just last week and the primary reason why I sought them out again is because of budget. I needed yet another furnace cleaning and they were $100 cheaper than others. I made thorough arrangements over the phone, gave my credit card #, and specific instructions that someone other than me would be there and that I wanted the pilot light turned back off when they were done. My house sitter said he arrived then immediately went out to his truck, he assumed to get a part or something. When he never came back in he went outside to check up on him. His truck was still parked out front but he was gone, poof, nowhere to be seen. Did he walk somewhere for lunch? Did someone pick him up? Was he smoking crack in the bushes? Who the hell knows? When he finally came back more than 30 minutes later he provided no explanation for his disappearance. None, nada. He went to work...a full 20 minutes. There was no running of a vacuum to "clean" the furnace like there should have been. When he gets ready to leave he becomes argumentative about turning the pilot back of
