Absolutely disgusting.Roaches and nasty everywhere.Needs condemned.Bathroom walls and bubble ceiling falls and crumbles apart and roaches hide and nest within and are everywhere.I feel like my effort and monies spent in upkeep and emotional distress here at the hotel due to conditions and staff and bugs and nastiness had cause me to leave in a deficit!!I'm thankful for the roof during the hard times but no laundry, house keepiny' no staff really at all unless you need weed or a coke dealer. Absolutely awful.The morning spanish man named sean claims to work for the domestic violence service of Lancaster just to have an angle and opportunities to threaten and scare traumatized who are there being protected and hiding from their abuser until housing is available.He is the most angry without a cause awful man I've ever dealt with and staying in this hotel out of need has damaged me mental health wise to a great degree. I don't know how much longer I can hold out being toyed with while dealing with so much on my plateTHEN YESTERDAY I GET AN EMAIL FROM CORPORATE TELLING ME MY ROOM PIN IS EXPIRED AND THERE ARE PEOPLE ENTERING AND EXITING FROM MY WINDOW UNBENUNCED TO ME OR MY BROTHERS KNOWLEDGESINCE IVE COMPLAINED THEYRE YRYINT TO INTIMIDATE ME TO LEAVE ILLEGALLY AND CHANGE MY PIN LIKE 5 MINS AGO!!SO BEWARED. Smells like smoke. ALL bedding had cigarette burns and was told I could get more but they all were like that. People doing drugs and drinking openly in parking lot. Room number written in sharpie marker on door. Holes in wall. A flop and drug house at best! Run run far away from this property. DO NOT THIS IS NOT A DRILL I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE!

I cant even speak on the hotel because I never got the stay a night due to personal problems. But what is extremely frustrating is that to get a refund I have to talk to a manger and they seem to NEVER be at the phones, or respond to their messages. I’ve been sending MANY messages for months to their voicemail and nothing. The front desk is nice but with their policy I have to talk to the manager.. who’s never there… it’s never been this hard to find a manager to speak to at a hotel before.

Dirty, wasn't cleaned at all. And they have bed bugs. Woke up to bite marks all over me and their were multiple other bugs in the bathroom, even a tick in the sink. I can't even leave 1 star. My bites got swollen.

If your reading this review please run as fast as you can. I've been alot of places & I've been desperate enough to stay in some rundown places. Last night I was in one of these desperate moments... & I still couldn't do it. I've never written a review b4 even. This how bad it was. I couldn't even give it 5 min. Paid a hundred dollars for a room I didn't even spend 5 minIn. No refund policy I didn't even care cause I felt this had to beThe gate way to hell. Plz if your reading this. the devil is alive & the entrance to his place starts @ the budget inn hotel in Lancaster PA. If you value your life, your skin, your money just walk run drive fly past this hell threshold. Let's stop contributingTo this place staying open. There keeping our money & for nothing in return.Ps. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

This room was not good at all. When we walked in we had soap only for "toiletries" provided. There was residue on the chairs, the box springs look like they had a fight with a cat, a white spot on the floor, the door was duck taped and a patched over whole in the wall. I then had to ask for pillows, which there were none to give, towels, and an ice bucket. BUT that wasn't the worst part. I'm lying in bed and a ROACH crawled up the wall next to my head. That is disgusting, and appalling. I would be ashamed. I wrote an email to the owner but haven't heard back. I would give negative stars if I could. I want my money back.

This place is absolutely horrible!! We walked into our room and left immediately! The walls are filthy, the hallway smelled like standing water/cat pee, the beds were disgusting, lamp shades were missing, the door appeared to be kicked in, the wall next to the first bed was patched but not sanded or painted, the red chair was all torn up, the place is disgusting! We drove a few feet down to Econo lodge and that place was no better!! I would not recommend staying in this area! After two hotels and driving 10 hours from Michigan we are leaving at 2:30am from the second hotel with no refund from either hotel and no idea where we are going to stay!!! I will never visit this area again!

Definitely not recommend I was only there for like 3 hours and when I turned off the light the bed bugs started biting me they definitely ruined my night I had to leave the place and I didn't get a refund they said call me back in four or five days

One star is actually to high for what i walked into when getting to my room. There was cigarette burns on both bed covers. No iron. Human hair and feces on bathroom floor. Trash still in receptacles and spread through out room. Went asked for a different room or refund or someone to clean it. Desk worker says no one can help and no number to call for assistance (not even an on-call manager for assistance at 6:30pm on a Friday night). I immediately left and am currently waiting to see if they will refund my money or not.

Place was a dump worse motel ever! Bugs in bed gave us spray at desk. Sheets dirty walls dirty, air conditioner shattered holes in wall , would not give our money back through Expedia. Will be contacting state attorney general tomorrowRooms: Horrible.sleazzy characters outside.

I didn't have a chance to sit down thank God and I saw bed bugs right on the top of the bed they gave me my money back but my concern was he didn't seem surprised or bothered

My family and I used to stay in this hotel many times before when we have come to Lancaster. I was very shocked at the poor conditions that this hotel is in. It’s a shame that at one time this was a nice hotel now we will not come back to it again. There was a terrible smell in the room when we came. My son and I went back to the front desk to see if we could get another room. The gentlemen at the front desk said he could not change rooms for us as it was against policy to do so. But he gave us a can of Lysol and sheets to replace the stain ones that were in the same shape as the ones we changed. The best the front desk clerk said he could do is offer for us to speak to management and see if they would give us some of our money back. What a shame that a once family hotel has become very poorly maintained and very uninviting to come back too. I think they need to remove the sign on the website about being a lantern award winning hotel. Award winning is far from what it is today.

Room was so bad we couldn't even stay. Disgusting! Beds had cigarette burns in the blankets and sheets, clumps of ratty hairs and when pulled down blankets there was food crums, blood stains and holes. The side of the bed had stains where drinks had been spilt down the sides, the walls had water damage I dont think ever cleaned. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke and it was obvious sanitation was not a priority. There is so much more I could say about how horrible this place was and why we couldn't stay there but I really shouldn't have to say anymore than I have to send you running far away.

Stayed here several times before has gone downhill, extremely dissatisfied with room conditions and service. I would Recommend rooms on the second floor they seem to be more clean, bugs were an issue along with overwhelming pet odor. Prices need to be lowered and major deep cleaning is needed.

I called the office numerous times about the children playing in the back stairwell and hallways. I just came in the door there are about 7 kids playing back there and there is ice cubes and candy wrappers all over the back stairway again. When I passed by t office coming from wawa the front desk clerk was lounged back in one of the chairs in the lobby like it was a living room scrolling on his phone. When I called the desk to report the children AGAIN there was no answer. I hung up, because I don't want to interfere with the lobby attendants facebook, or Twitter time. I'm disgusted with this places lack of care they give to the guests who have legitimate complaints, and the nonchalant way in which complaints a handled. It seems like a childcare resort run by children. I could have slipped on the ice on the stairs, or one of the candy wrappers lying about. I assume that quiet clean respectable guests are unwelcome. I will find another place soon.
