My previous Earthbox produced more than 600 grape tomatoes from 2 plants in one season! I had to give some of the tomatoes to my neighbor because of the amount. I had to buy a new Earthbox because I moved to a different city and did not take it with me. I hope the tomatoes turn out well again this year.
The Earthbox is very well designed, can’t over or under water the plants it seems. I have the trellis system to allow for the plants to climb. It is pretty sturdy. I have the one with wheels on it to make it easy to move.
The Earthbox truly does produce good and plenty of fruit! After the vegetables were gone for the season I planted colder weathered flowers in them that grew even during the winter snow. I did not water the plants during the winter time though.
The Earthbox is definitely a great tool for gardeners and worth the price!

Purchased my Earthboxes early this spring after seeing a presentation from my county extention service. I live on a steep slope and have nowhere to put a conventional vegetable garden. Have set up my Earthboxes on my deck and planted them. So far they are working wonderfully. I'm looking forward to harvest time!

Have had EarthBoxes for the last 10 years. I have been able to grow any vegetable I want. I prefer to grow my winter vegetables in my EarthBoxes because I don't have to wade through mud to plant or harvest. I grow my peppers in them during the summer as well as melons, cucumbers, zucchini. Sorry no pictures I grow for food not pictures.-

Really easy to set up using the instructions and everything is included. Compact and portable so that whole box can be moved to the best location and around when needed. Plants are growing really fast and I can't wait to see full grown tomatoes. This is a fun way to grow veggies.

I have been using EARTHBOX for maybe 8 years, adding to what I have when needed. They are a wonderful system, and produce very bountiful harvests.
I have sent many family and friends to the site and they love them as well, all over the USA, not just my zone 8A Right now I have 13 of the square, and 3 of the rectangular.

Both orders were shipped very quick. Quality of the materials is great. In comparison to my other makeshift earth boxes, a night and day difference in health and growth of my vegetables. My only problem was shipping costs, but any really blame them.

Bought these originally so my tomatoes would survive my 3 wk travel- when I returned my tomatoes were alive and went on to produce a good harvest - I have since bought more boxes and used for many different veg and herbs - the original boxes still going strong 5 years later

I love it. I ordered wheels to go with it and the wheels have brakes to hold in place. It can be moved easy. Got it to early to go outside so its moved around in the house to follow the sun and I can see my plants progress.

We have been using Earth Boxes successfully for over a decade. When we moved and downsized we gave our boxes to our kids , and then we realized we needed to buy them again as they are perfect for our deck and patio. Our cherry tomatoes grow about 5 feet! And I give them to all my neighbors and family they are so abundant and delicious. Our green peppers grew like a "Pepper tree"- so much fun opening my back door to pick a fresh pepper daily! And our bush beans were awesome. Cukes have been amazing as well. So, the system is wonderful and I love the cleanliness and no bug aspect.
However,
I WOULD SUGGEST MAKING A FEW IMPORTANT IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SYSTEMS:
**1) I would like to see a rolling caster system option for the smaller "root" boxes , as they are quite heavy once filled with dirt and veggies. Their weight , once filled, prohibits me from being able to rotate the direction of the box to get equal sun time or even to move to a different location on your deck/ patio if you change your mind on the desired location. We use the caster system for the large cherry tomatoes and I often turn the system around to expose the other side to the sun and that has worked very well.
**2) We use the " trellis " system to help support the cherry tomatoes on the large box- this is very helpful . However the "triangular trellis system" that is to be used with the root boxes is a flimsy plastic and not like the sturdy metal ones we use on the larger system. So a gust of wind takes the plastic trellis and lifts it up , and can damage and break your plant. THERE SHOULD BE OUTRIGGER HOLES on the outside of these boxes , as there is NO PLACE TO SECURE the triangular plastic trellis and it just flimsily sits in the dirt . Not a good design and could easily be improved to match the other larger systems you already make!

The items I ordered are at the ready. I am not able to start planting, yet. The general rule of thumb for Colorado is not to start planting outside until after Mother's Day. My outside temp. this a.m. was 14 degrees (4/20/2021) and 4" of snow. I am looking forward to great results with my EarthBoxes (5), when the time comes to get them started. I have had wonderful results in the past. I purchased my first 2 boxes at least 15 years ago and added 3 more a couple of years later. They are all still holding up very well.
