Dolly’s Wash House Coin Laundromat is a small family business that has been running for more than 20 years. To keep costs down, they operate the place themselves seven days a week. The machines are not new but are well-maintained. Personally, I find this place has an old character and historical charm that hasn’t been replaced by new high technology yet. All the machines take quarters, and they also have an ATM and two change machines inside the business.
The washers are fairly priced; one of their biggest, at 35 lbs, is $4.50. Despite being a small laundromat, they always have a laundry attendant who is helpful with any questions or problems. The bathroom is locked for customers only, and there is no Wi-Fi available. A parking lot is available for Dolly’s customers.
The location is great—it is close to McDonald’s and an Asian market next door, and I enjoy walking to the Peruvian chicken place nearby. The biggest charm of this place is their drop-off service for alterations and dry cleaning. Monday through Friday, they offer same-day laundry drop-off service as well. Although they are not responsible for any unattended laundry items, they have security cameras throughout the store to ensure customer safety.
I only use this place for big comforters, but compared to other places I’ve been (one in Dublin and one in Darmstadt), this is a pretty decent and charming old-fashioned laundromat.

I just returned from Dolly's, and am so disappointed and angry! I pulled our white king size bedspread out of the dryer and it was full of dark gray spots. It was clean when I put it in the dryer, so something in the dryer put these spots on it. The owner was there, and I showed him what had happened. He shrugged his shoulders, and said, "Just put it through the wash again." Really? And pay another $4.50 to realize that the dark gray spots are now permanent? And why would I give him my $4.50 anyway? What irked me the most was that there was absolutely no empathy on his part about my ruined $150 bed cover. He didn't even ask about which was the offending dryer (#11 by the way, steer clear!). He certainly wasn't going to offer to pay for my second wash, which was to try to correct something done by his machine. There are far too many laundromats in Lancaster for me to ever go back to Dolly's again!

Coin operated. It's cheap (triple load machine was $4.25, dryer was 25 cents for 7 minutes). Triple load machines didn't display time remaining, just a heads up if you are in a rush. Loses a star for no wifi and worse, no AC.

My son needed his clothes washed and Normally we go to another place in Lancaster but This place is within walking distance...When you first walk in this place Stinks and Dirty!! So We sat outside!!

I am visiting from out of town and had some laundry to be washed, dried and folded. I found Dolly’s Wash House on the internet. I was very impressed with the service there. They were extremely fast and did a great job! The people there were very friendly and welcoming. Actually a number of the customers were friendly too! I will be back when in the area again. I highly recommend this business. ?

Very nice!!! Lots of washers and dryers that work. Attendant on duty, change machine, washing products,clothes hampers,TV and music. Restroom on site. McDonald's very close across the street.
