Dollar General Lancaster offers everyday essentials at affordable prices from right around the corner. The store is usually stocked well and clean, but prices for items are often higher than at Wal Mart, Giant or Target. There is usually a long line with one employee running the whole show, though self‑checkout registers help. Parking is good and the location is convenient. Most items are in stock and there is a lot of variety, though the floors can be a little dirty. Office staff handled a purchase problem excellently, showing the store is well managed. Customers can also use the myDG program and the store sells Tobacco.
Got what I need and I like it when they say hi to you when you first come in the doors nice prices too.

Decent place overall. Most things are in stock, it's organized for the most part, and there's a lot of variety. There is a good amount of parking here and it's a good location. The only small complaint is that it's a little dirty (the floors, etc.).

I can tell a difference in the staff in the office. I had a problem with a purchase...they were excellent in their resolution. I hadn't seen any of them before who were in the office. The store is well managed. Thank you!
