Our room was outdated but clean. The beds were old though and not comfortable. The bathroom was brand new and had a nice shower. I wish I had known when I booked that there was going be more then 100 unsupervised children running around. There was a soccer tournament and the hotel was full of the kids on the teams. I wouldn’t have cared except that the parents sat outside and drank while their kids acted like wild animals in the indoor pool. I have a son with severe autism and when the unsupervised kids saw my son covering his ears, they started screaming louder. The reason I booked this place was because it was priced reasonably and had a pool. My autistic son loves to swim, but after I was pegged the face by a ball, had water splashed on purpose all over my bag that had my phone in, and my son was kicked in the face TWICE we decided to not even try to swim. The kids were cursing, being very disrespectful, and not one of the parents getting wasted outside the pool area even tried to parent. Needless to say I did not enjoy my visit. This hotel should block off all the rooms when they have that many kids coming.

Rooms: The room was spacious and very clean, the bathroom was big and had great pressure and hot water, the beds were very comfortableSafety: The parking lot was well litWalkability: Lots of places within walking distanceFood & drinks: There is a restaurant right next door, there are plenty of options for food close byNoteworthy details: The workers were all very friendly and helpful, from checking in to checking out it was a freeze. The pool is one of the biggest of all the hotels in that area.

What an amazing place. Staff were superb. Super clean. Super affordable. The pool and hot tub, along with the pool house, were just what we needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the walk in shower and updated toilet. If you go anywhere in the area, stay here. You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to stay here for a longer period of time.Rooms: Walk in shower and updated toilet. Bathroom was nice!!!!

Has not been updated in about 90 years.... That is an exaggeration of course but it is really outdated. The bed was ok, the free breakfast was rather laughable and the kids that checked us out the next day were... Not overly knowledgeable.

Warning: I booked a room through Chase Travel, unfortunately for the wrong weekend. I didn't receive any reminder emails from the hotel about my stay. If I had, I would not have incurred the penalty of paying for a room I didn't use. Make sure your travel dates are correct, as you may not receive a reminder.

This was our first stay at the Country Inn of Lancaster and we were pleasantly pleased. It is a balance of country charm warm hospitality. We immediately began to experience this with the front desk during our check-in. The young lady who processed our reservation was just so nice. She was helpful, talking time to share with us all that we needed to know for our stay (check-out time, breakfast times, etc.), answered questions and offered local dining suggestions.Upon entering our room we were presently with a spacious room. It was simply appointed and everything was in good condition and good working order. The appointments were certainly outdated but, again, everything was in good condition and well maintained. They only thing it lacked for us was a microwave. The beds and linens were clean and very comfortable. Bathroom had ample hot water and more than sufficient room. The private balcony/patio with rocking chairs is an added bonus. On our next visit we will entertain staying here again.

Reserved 2 rooms. Both rooms were nice and appeared clean. However, one of rooms had a few issues; roaches, ceiling in bathroom leaked when showering flooding the bathroom, and ⅓ of the television screen was blacked out. They offered another room but we were checking out in the morning so we felt it would be senseless and we had adjoining rooms. If having a refrigerator and/or microwave in the room is important, than this place isn't for you. The staff is very kind, helpful, and eager to please. They do offer a modest continental breakfast in the morning. If the issues with the one room were addressed I would consider staying there again.
