We went for my son’s 1st birthday bear. There were only 3 other people shopping. We got our bear and directed in line behind another little girl celebrating her birthday too. She had 2 stuffies and they had just started. The other staff member walked around and then took the adults who were ready to stuff their animal and we were still over here waiting in our line. She had stuffed their animal, helped them pick out an outfit and checked them out…all while we were still in line waiting to get our bear stuffed. With our 1yo who didn’t want to wait longer and wasn’t allowed to walk around because he had grip socks on and not shoes. Finally after she was done helping those adults she said they we could come over to her and get it stuffed. After we went to check out, we wanted to do the bundle and she said we couldn’t because we didn’t get the sound. I said okay that’s fine. She said “that’s why I asked if you wanted it when stuffing”…no no you didn’t but whatever. At this point we were annoyed and just wanted to leave. Won’t be coming back.

This place had zero energy, like if you’re going to be a kid store you need to be more friendly. We went there for my baby’s two year old birthday and she hated it because the experience was horrible..so sad. Yall looked like you didn’t even wanna be there. What happened to giving the bear a kiss and a hug where was the interactive part??? You had one job and you failed. I will never come here again. Honestly wish I never came to this location. Get better workers who actually want to be there.

What a magical afternoon we had when we stopped at the Build-A-Bear store in Lancaster. All of the employees were very helpful. Peyton did a magical job of adding music to our bears. Then she warmed the bears hearts with a magical saying that warmed our hearts as well. She was as precious as the bears themselves! After our bears were filled, where is that huge variety of outfits and accessories to dress your new friend in. We loved the entire experience!

There is no reason to close BEFORE the mall other than pure laziness. Turning away a paying customer because you'd like to go home early is unacceptable and childish.

WOWOWOWOW!! This is not your average Build-A-Bear. Something magical must be in the water at the Park Place Mall because literally every single staff member was a straight up angel to me, my wife, and the throng of toddlers on our heels. We had my daughter's birthday here and I've never been so happy to pay 30$ for a stuffed animal. You are going to be so bowled-over by the level of professionalism, the attention to detail, and the GENUINE CARE from the staff. Seriously, they were so loving, tender, and kind to the children; I know they, nor I, will soon forget the very special experience these wonderful people provided us.Thank you! <3

I used to work here, and the staff is always super friendly and awesome. Even before working here, I came in a lot as a kid and never had a bad experience. It's honestly one of my favorite stores in the mall. I've been bringing my daughter in since she was born, and I will definitely keep bringing her as she grows up. I love the environment and how the staff always interacts with everyone!

For the size of the store the selection of "build a bears" doesn't make sense. This store here was not very clean. Trash on the floors and bins full of trash and boxes by the back door of the store in the open all the while a girls bday party was taking place. If I was the mom paying for that I would have been upset. But as long as the kids are happy. I guess be glad kids don't see things like adults do.
