I went for a book the website said was in stock. The lady at the service desk went above and beyond to look for it. Although we didn't find the book, the experience was pleasant and I found a different book instead.

This store's political bias was on open display in the merchandising and advertising done throughout the shop. I prefer more neutral and focused tactics that appeal to all, not just some. The selection seemed to consist only of what was popular and little more. The prices that I saw were full retail, quite pricey. Ordering a book through Barnes & Noble, that can't be shipped to your house or a local library, makes sense.

I love a Barnes and Noble, but this one wasn't really up to my standards. Maybe because it's smaller than what I'm used too. The cheap book area was sad. Two entire sets of shelves were empty. Crossword puzzle books, soduko and word search books were all mixed up together. Only one around I'm guessing.

Great service, always helping when I need to find a book. They have my favourite series there, "The Gods of Olympus" by Rick Riordan. He also writes some other very good books.

Went on May 4 and was pleasantly surprised they has free X-Wing Legos to build. The staff are wonderful and willing to help.

Great ice cream, but the cows in the dairy aren't treated well, though to be fair, probably better than at other places. At least they're open about how they treat them.

All as expected from a typical B&N: well organized, easily navigable, wide selection, and super friendly staff. Sure, I could have ordered on Amazon, but there's something fun and special about browsing a real bookstore... and supporting a real business with local workers too.
